How to become a Funded
Trader: 12 Tips and Tricks
First, you need to select a proven funding program. If you`ve just
started, I would recommend programs up to $50,000. It will be easier
for you to trade with smaller amounts.
To get an additional discount from JSI, follow the links:
➢ TickTickTrader (Instant Funding) -> Get funded from 1 day
➢ EliteTrader (“Fast Track”) -> Ger funded after 5 days
➢ Apex (available not for all countries) -> Get funded
after 7 days
➢ Сrypto Funded Program (For additional discount use
promocode: platinum5) -> Get Funded
Also, I recommend choosing a program with one step. It is also much
easier psychologically.
Use 1 instrument, 1 time frame and 1 strategy. This way you will
know the instrument better and it will be easier for you to identify
patterns.

Use a reliable trading platform. I prefer ATAS (free download). It is a
professional trading and analytical platform designed for order flow
analysis. For example, only this platform has unique timeframes, such
as Range XV. In this example: unique “Range XV” chart

Use the trader journal - a simple table which includes:
o Date of trade
o Time of trade
o Used tactic
o Results
o Screenshot or video of trade
o Comments (there you could specify what was good and what you
could do better)
Periodically review your trading statistics. As a result, you could find
out that the most profitable trades you have at 9:00 to 11:00 on tactic
Tape Patterns using instrument NQ. So, you could track your
potentially best time for trading!
Follow your P&L curve. Ideally, it should be smooth. If there are strong
fluctuations in your curve, your trading system needs improvement.

Don't rush to pass the program! Even if the capabilities of your
program allow you to trade 6 contracts, it's better to start with 1-2
contracts.
Practice without risk! Market Replay in ATAS platform is a "simulator"
that uses historical data to emulate a trading process.

Set a limit of trades per day. In order not to over-trade (this may be
dangerous for your deposit), you can set a limit. For example, 3
trades per day.

You don't have to trade every day. For example, if you trade in the
uProfit Trader program, the minimum number of trading days is 10,
but you have ~20 trading days before the start of the next month and
the subscription payment for it.
It is better to make one transaction per day, but an accurate
transaction.
Do not increase the number of contracts you trade after losing
trades. It is a direct path to failure.
Strictly follow the rules of your program. If one of them is violated,
the program will fail and you will be offered to do a "reset” (usually it
costs 100$). Also, you will waste the time that you spent here before.

Use a calendar of major economic releases. Copy all the major
economic releases to your calendar and set notifications. You should
not trade 5 minutes before and after the releases, because the market
can be unpredictable.

If you are close to the daily loss limit - stop trading. Do not try to
trade with the remaining money, you can break the rule of exceeding
this limit.
Train your brain. To build self-discipline, focus and mindfulness which
are necessary for profitable trading.
