ARCHAEA
Archaea are the kindom of
Archaebacteria. Organisms of this
kingdom are all microscopic, meaning
we cannot see them with our naked
eye.
ARCHAEA
•Archaebacteria has no nucleus and even
organelles.
•Their genetic materials float freely in
cytoplasm.
•They live and settle in diverse places, some
even in the most extreme environments
EXAMPLES:
METHANOGENS
Methanogens can survive in
places where there is little to no
oxygen, like the digestive tracts
of animals and ponds

EXAMPLES:
METHANOGENS HALOPHILES
Methanogens can survive in Halophiles are adapted to very salty
places where there is little to no environments. Examples of halophiles
oxygen, like the digestive tracts are Haloccocus dombrowski and
of animals and ponds Halobacterium salinarium.

BACTERIA
It is from a Kingdom
Eubacteria. Members of
Eubacteria are unicellular and
microscopic.
BACTERIA
They do not have true nucleus and
organelles and are regarded as the true
bacteria. Their cell walls are made of
"peptidoglycan", the basic unit of the
cell wall in bacteria,

EUKARYA
Eukarya consists of organisms that have a true
nucleus and structures called organelles that are
surrounded with by membranes. Organisms in
the domain Eukarya keep their genetic material
in a nucleus and include the plants, animals,
fungi, and protists.
Members of Domains
Eubacteria and Archaebacteria
are called "prokaryotes" because
of they lack a true nucleus and
membrane-bound organelles.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
•The three domains of Life: Archaea, Bacteria & Eukarya
•"Microscopic" means, we cannot see them with our naked eye
•Methanogens: Can live with no oxygen
•Halophiles: Suited for salty environment
•Thermophiles: Can live up the temperature of 80°-110°C
•The cell wall of Bacteria is made up of "Peptidoglycan"
•Classification of Bacteria: Cocci, Bacilli, Spirilla
•Organims of Eukarya keep their genetic material in the "Nucleus"
"Prokaryotes" the members of Eubacteria and Archaebacteria
