The main objectives of this course are as follows:
1. The course provides students with fundamental knowledge and
principles in material removal processes.
2. To demonstrate the fundamentals of machining processes and

Introduction to metal cutting, machine tools and machining operations –
Course Outline turning, drilling, milling and abrasive machining, cutting mechanics, cutting
