Chhatra Sansad (An initiative of Zero Hour Foundation) is the first ever unique youth movement that provides the youth a platform to become an element of change. It is an initiative taken up by Kunal Sharma in the year 2015.
It is to encourage the youth to commit to politics and embrace public life with the aim of strengthening the democratic fabric of our nation. This we hope would culminate in fairer, more efficient youth-driven politics.
Chhatra Sansad aims to ignite the spirit of leadership in the youth, raising their sensitivity, awareness, involvement, responsiveness, access, and say in the political and democratic processes. This will in turn result in a healthy democratic system that will produce competent public leaders and policy makers from the grassroots and from all walks of life. The participants play the role of the parliamentarians and bureaucrats in various councils of our country such as Lok Sabha, GST Council, etc.
