GROUP ASSIGNMENT (Interview a Manager)
General Guide 1. This is a group assignment. Therefore, students are required to form a group comprising of ten members per group. 2. The assignment contributes thirty percent of the total marks; twenty percent for the group report and ten percent will be allocated for the group presentation. 3. Students can write either in English or Bahasa Malaysia. 4. Answers are to be typed on plain A4 paper only, using either Times New Roman font size 12 or Arial font size 11, and doubled-spaced. 5. References must be included if taken from reliable sources such as books and journals. 6. You are strongly advised to supplement supporting evidence of reading and research findings from other textbooks or articles beyond the main text book to support or argue your findings. Minimum number of references: five journals and five books. 7. Plagiarism, copying and cheating will NOT be awarded any marks, and disciplinary actions will be taken instead. 8. The assignment should be submitted on or before 18 November 2011. Late assignments will still be accepted, but five marks will be deducted.
Group Task This assignment is designed to raise students awareness about the day-to-day realities of managerial work. For this assignment, you will need to interview a manager (please refer to the levels of management), and write a report.
