At the Hotel: Booking a Room (Di Hotel: Memesan Kamar)

RECEPTIONIST : Good morning, Bumi Minang Hotel, Zakki speaking. How can I help you?
RESEPSIONIS : Selamat pagi, Bumi Minang Hotel, Zakki berbicara. Ada yang bisa saya bantu?

CUSTOMER : Hi, we' ve booked a room. We booked it two days ago.


PELANGGAN : Hai, kami telah memesan sebuah kamar. Kami memesannya dua hari yang lalu.

RECEPTIONIST : Could I have your names, please?


RESEPSIONIS : Boleh saya tahu nama Anda?

CUSTOMER : Sure, it's Mr and Mrs. Amor.


PELANGGAN : Tentu, ini tuan dan nyonya Amor.

RECEPTIONIST : Could you spell your name for me, sir?


RESEPSIONIS : Bisa Anda mengeja nama Anda tuan?

CUSTOMER : G-U-S-T-I-A-M-O-R
PELANGGAN : G-U-S-T-I-A-M-O-R

RECEPTIONIST : Just a moment, sir. I'll check it on my computer. Ok, Mr Amor, a double room for two
nights
RESEPSIONIS : Sebentar ya, Pak. Saya akan mengeceknya di komputer. Ok, Pak Amor, kamar untuk
dua orang untuk dua malam.

CUSTOMER : How much would it cost?


PELANGGAN : Berapa biayanya?

RECEPTIONIST : A double room is Rp. 700.000 per night, including breakfast. So, Rp. 1.400.000 then.
RESEPSIONIS : Kamar untuk dua orang Rp. 700.000 per malam, termasuk sarapan. Jadi Rp. 1.400.000.

CUSTOMER : Ok. A double room for three nights. Good bye.


PELANGGAN : Kamar untuk dua orang untuk tiga malam. Sampai jumpa.

RECEPTIONIST : Goodbye. Thank you for calling!

CUSTOMER : Can I get a wake-up call at 4:30 a.m.?


PELANGGAN : Bisakah saya dibangunkan lewat panggilan telepon pada jam 4.30 pagi?

RECEPTIONIST : Certainly ma’am. What else that I can do for you?


RESEPSIONIS : Tentu saja bu. Ada lagi yang bisa saya bantu?

CUSTOMER : Do you have room service? Our bed sheets are dirty. Could you please change them?
PELANGGAN : Apakah Anda punya layanan kamar? Alas kasur kami kotor. Bisakah Anda
menggantinya?

RECEPTIONIST: Sure ma’am. We’ll ask our room-clerk to change them? Anything else?
RESEPSIONIS : Tentu bu. Kami akan minta kerani hotel untuk menggantinya. Ada lagi?

CUSTOMER : The coffee-maker doesn't work.


PELANGGAN : Alat pembuat kopinya rusak.

RECEPTIONIST: Yes, anything else, ma’am?


RESEPSIONIS : Ya, ada lagi, bu?

CUSTOMER : The remote-control doesn’t work.


PELANGGAN : Remote-control-nya tidak berfungsi.

RECEPTIONIST: We’ll repair it, ma’am. Anything else, ma’am?


RESEPSIONIS : Kami akan memperbaikinya bu. Ada lagi bu?

CUSTOMER : No more. Room 579, ok?


PELANGGAN : Tidak ada lagi. Kamar 579 ya?

RECEPTIONIST: Yes, ma’am. Room 579.


RESEPSIONIS : Ya bu. Kamar 579.
