PASTILLAS
I. Purpose of the Product/Service:
-The purpose of the product is to serve as dessert or snack for the students. It satisfies the sweet tooth of
the youngsters. Pastillas provide consumers with a sweet product that is not only delicious but affordable.
II. Feature of the Product/Service:
Pastillas, also known as pastillas de leche ("milk pills"), refer to a type of milk-based confections that
originated in the town of San Miguel in Bulacan, Philippines. From San Miguel, pastillas-making spread
to other Philippine provinces such as Cagayan and Masbate. Pastillas are sweet milk candies that are
usually served for dessert. Pastillas also earned the moniker “the most complete food” as it's a good
source of protein, fat, lactose, vitamins, minerals, and water. It's also good for the bones because of the
milk variants. There are three main categories of pastillas based on consistency: soft pastillas, hard
pastillas, and toasted pastillas. Soft pastillas has a soft creamy texture. Hard pastillas is a denser version
that crumbles when eaten. And toasted pastillas are coated with a crunchy, caramelized layer of sugary
goodness.

IV. Production process:
The following are the ingredients and the preparation on how to make Pastillas.
Ingredients:
2 Cups Powdered milk
1 Can Condensed milk
½ Cup Sugar
1 Chocolate Bar
Flavoring:
•Matcha
•Ube
•Chocolate
•Milk
Preparation:
1.) Place the condensed milk in a large mixing bowl.
2.) Carefully fold-in the powdered milk. The texture will be similar to dough once all the powdered milk
is added.
3.) Scoop small amount of the mixture and mold into cylinders or any shapes that you want.
4.) Roll each molded cylindrical mixture on granulated sugar.
5.) Wrap in paper wrapper or cellophane.
6.) Share and enjoy!
V. Distribution logistics:
The business will operate inside the school premises. Our target market is all the students and teacher of
Easter College who loves eating sweet food. The schools population is recommended for the business
because as observed by the number of students, most of them love eating sweet delicacies. Thus, our new
Pastillas with a twist is a great product to offer. Aside from that, the school has a lot of space that can be
utilized in this business venture. The distribution of product can be personal or ordered via our Facebook
accounts.
