Chapter 8
IDENTIFICATION :

1. It is the willingness and determination by every Filipino people to lay down one’s life for the
fatherland. FILIPINO PATRIOTISM
2. It is amazing and heart-warming to see the true BAYANIHAN SPIRIT come alive in many instances
of patriotism and altruism in action.
3. That is right, one of the greatest fears that the FILIPINO PEOPLE have is fear of the truth; fear of
accepting the harsh realities around them.
4. Now, for the next six years, a new leader is calling the Filipino people to fight, not invaders, but the
fellow Filipinos, a SOCIAL CLEANSING.
5. SEC. RA. NO. 8491 REVERENCE and respect shall at all times be accorded the flag, the anthem and
other national symbols which embody the national ideals and traditions.
6. This means community-based organizations, clubs, committees, associations, corporation, or any other
group of persons acting in concert. SOCIO-CIVIC ORGANIZATION
7. In democracy, there are core DEMOCRATIC JAMES fundamental to Philippines, that is, the things
that the country was built on.
8. This include, things like voting, and paying attention to issues in the community. SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES
9. It is a word that describes the differences of cultures among people. CULTURAL DIVERSITY
10. No matter, what, where, and how, they expressed themselves in the exercise of the basic right as
embodied in the BILL OF RIGHTS.

ESSAY (16-20): Explain in brief the perspective on Filipino patriotism.

There all rumors of being a Filipino patriotism, because not all the Filipino people believed that
being patriotism is simply giving and showing the loved and care about the country whose they were
belong. However, that kind of respecting about what the society does about the personal character of
every Filipino people. Being a good Filipino leader deals in different kind of stage and the people
declared that the leaders has an authority to develop the Patriotism of a citizen of the Philippines.
Meanwhile, not all good people rely on that perspective, because as of many people that cannot afford the
standard of the person who is in the higher stages of their lives, helping the needy, showing respect to an
elder. That’s why the Filipino who are being patriotism is a choice not required to many.
