WALA: FORCE AND MOVEMENT

WALT:

-Define force and learn that force makes things to move and
stop

-Explain how push or pull makes things to move

-Explain how force changes the shape of some objects and

change direction.

Force is a push or a pull on an object that makes it move or stop.

Forces are required to change the movement of an object (speed
up, slow down, change direction, or stop.)

A pull is a force that moves an object towards you.

A push is a force that moves an object away from you.
When a force pushes or pulls an object, the object will move in the
direction of the force. The bigger the force, and the lighter the
object, the greater the speed.

Force can also make something slow down, speed up or change

direction.
