CONNECT ARUBA SWITCH VIA PUTTY

#show flash

#show config file


Open WinAgents TFTP Server Manager in laptop & connect

Once login to Aruba – IP will appear at putty CLI

copy startup-config tftp 192.168.30.10 backup2022

copy startup-config tftp ×××.xxx.xxx.xx (own laptop IP which is connected to Aruba via putty (IP will
appear once login to putty) type file save name

Example

copy startup-config tftp 192.168.30.10 backup2022


ONCE BACKUP DONE – CONTINUE WITH FIRMWARE UPDATE

LOGIN TO PUTTY ARUBA SWITCH

Ip dns server-address priority 1 <dns server address>


Once update complete putty hang means disconnect from switch.

Relogin back & check the updated version
