Read the following:
1. G.O. Rt. No. 650 MA&UD (UBS) Department, dated 03-10-2019.
2. G.O. Rt. No. 25 MA&UD (UBS) Department, dated 13.01.2023.
3. From the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration,
Mangalagiri, Lr. Roc. No. 22/58/2022/N-Sec, Dated 20.06.2023.
ORDER:
The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, Mangalagiri in
the reference 3° read above, among other issues has reported that the Ward
Sanitation & Environmental Secretaries (WS&ESs) working in the ULBs, have
requested to implement the Ward Sachivalayam timings from 10 AM to 5.30 PM on
par with other Secretaries duly exempting them from attending Sanitary Maistry
duties and informed that the same cannot be considered as the WS&ESs are
responsible for maintenance of the sanitation, implementation of Hon’ble NGT
directions, SWM Rules etc. in their respective jurisdiction. However, to reduce the
burden of attending duties continuously by WS&ESs, he has requested the
Government to issue necessary orders amending the existing job chart as follows in
two shifts: -
A. From 5.00 AM to 10.00 AM (or) 6.00 AM to 11.00 AM as per the timings of the
respective ULB for Outdoor work.
B. From 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM either for Outdoor (or) Indoor work as per the need
and necessity
2. The Government after careful examination of the matter hereby issue the
following amendment to the Job Chart of Ward Sanitation & Environment
Secretaries under - “Responsibilities at SI. No. 1”, issued vide G.O. 1* read
above and in continuation of the G.O. 2” read above :

3. The Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, Mangalagiri shall
take necessary action in the matter accordingly,
4. The Commissioner, GVWV & VSWS Department shall take necessary action
for change of timings of the Ward Sanitation & Environment Secretaries as above in
the relevant |.T. Applications, while capturing the Attendance of the employees.
