Dear Dr. Pontillas,

Greetings!

I am writing to express my intent on continuing my job as an instructor at Camarines Sur Polytechnic


Colleges, holding the position of Instructor I. I have been with this institution for 6 months and upon the
expiration of my contract, I hope to continue teaching and renew my employment status.

As an instructor, I have made positive contributions not only for the institution, but for the students that
I have taught under my advisement in Readings in Philippine History. Among my achievement as an
educator include the following: Gender Sensitivity Training conducted by the University of the
Philippines – Open University and Postcolonial Monuments in the Hometown: A Conversation On
Decolonization and the Im/Possibilities of Repair lectured by Prof. Dada Docot held at CSPC Pearl
Function Hall. I hope these achievements serve as a proof that I have been very capable of taking of
taking the challenges and responsibilities set forth by my teaching position.

Also as a lifelong learner, I have credited 18 units for studying Master of Arts in Education major in
History and still continuing to enrich my knowledge and understanding, most especially, the history of
the Philippines

Should you decide to consider my intent in continuing my employment, I assure you that I will be taking
on the challenges and responsibilities with same capability that I have demonstrated since I began
teaching in this institution.
