Lakbay-Aral, a Filipino term literally translated as
"learning journey," is a program that provides
opportunities for exposure visits and experiential

learning for teachers and students on a myriad of
topics or themes. The program prioritizes Araling
Panlipunan teachers at Tropical Village National
High School but may also include teachers from
other disciplines. Participants are exposed to
historical and cultural sites to learn more about
Philippine culture, history, and national pride.
Teaching and learning experiences outside the
confines of the classroom walls have a range of
benefits for teachers.
Lakbay-Aral can take a variety of forms that meet a
