expression.
Role – You are the celebrated poet, William Wordsworth/Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
Audience – Your fans and followers/readers.
Situation – You are being interviewed on a podcast.
Product: You will assume the role of the poet and answer the given interview questions in the form of a podcast.
Task: You are being interviewed on a famous podcast about poets. Choose any one poet from the given two and answer
the respective questions:
A. It is based on the poem, Ode: Intimations of Immortality by William Wordsworth

1. Do you think the readers will be able to relate to this poem? How?
2. What is the main theme(s) in your poem and how will it continue to speak to the readers in the centuries to
come?
3. Your poetry brings out the belief that nature is conscious and shows the influence of nature on man. Could you
please elaborate on that.

SUCCESS CRITERIA:
Avoid being far-fetched in your interview and instead draw references from poet’s life and work.
Use accurate emotions and expressions while representing the poet of your choice.
Make sure to speak articulately, referring to the poet’s mindset and attitude.
Use figurative language such as metaphor, simile or personification to make your presentation effective.
You may resort to quotes directly from the poem.
Speak for about 4-5 minutes.
Use first- person and a semi- formal register.

Use grammar, syntax and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
