FACT OF THE CASE:

That on or about 3:00 P.M in the afternoon of July 10, 2022, this station received
a report from the victim LADY y BADIANG, that she was robbed in B7 922 Field
Residences, San Dionisio, Paranaque City. Immediately elements of this station
composed of PCpl VON y NARCISO and proceeded at the above-mentioned place to
conduct investigation.
Investigation conducted revealed that at around 8:00 P.M of July 09, 2022, at the
house on the said place, Lady y Badiang, Female, Filipino, 22 years old (DOB: May 22,
2000), Single, 4th Year College Student and currently living at B7 922 Field Residences,
San Dionisio, Paranaque City, was robbed at her place. And a certain Rodlyn y
Mendoza, her childhood friend, Female, Filipino, 22 years old (DOB: June 3, 2000),
Single, 4th Year College Student and currently living at B7 919 Field Residences, San
Dionisio, Paranaque City was the suspect.
 At around 8:00 P.M. in the evening at the victim’s place, while Lady y Badiang
went to the comfort room, Rodlyn y Mendoza stole some money in her wallet. A CCTV
footage was shown to us for proof.

Afterwards, Lady y Badiang went to the Ups 5 Police Sub Station/SS2, at San Dionisio,
Paranaque Police Station.

QUESTION AND ANSWERS

1. QUESTION: MS. LADY y BADIANG, do you swear to tell the whole truth and
nothing but the whole truth in this investigation?

ANSWER: Yes, Sir.

2. QUESTION: Are you willing to give your free voluntarily statement?

ANSWER: Yes, Sir.

3. QUESTION: Will you please state your name and other personal
circumstances?

ANSWER: I am LADY y BADIANG, Female, Filipino, 22 years old (DOB: May

22, 2000), Single, 4 th Year College Student and currently living at B7 922 Field
Residences, San Dionisio, Paranaque City.

4. QUESTION: Will you please tell me why you are here in our office and
giving this statement?

ANSWER: To report Rodlyn y Mendoza, my childhood friend, Female, Filipino,

22 years old (DOB: June 3, 2000), Single, 4 th Year College Student and currently
living at B7 919 Field Residences, San Dionisio, Paranaque City.

5. QUESTION: What are the reasons and why you’re complaining about the
person you’ve mentioned?

ANSWER: It’s because she stole money from me.

6. QUESTION: When and where the incident took place, if you can recall?

ANSWER: Yesterday around 8:00 P.M in the evening at my house located at B7

922 Field Residences, San Dionisio, Paranaque City.

7. QUESTION: Will you please narrate in this investigation what truly

happened the incident took place?

ANSWER: Rodlyn y Mendoza and I were hanging at my place. She left at around
9:00 P.M. in the evening. The next day during lunch break, when I took my wallet
out to get money to pay for my food, my money was gone. And I remember her
telling me yesterday that she needed money to make her nails done.

8. QUESTION: What happened next if there’s anything?

ANSWER: I went home to eat my lunch there because I have no money to buy
food. And while going home, we bumped at each other in the elevator and I saw
that she just got her nails done. I confronted her but she keeps on denying it and
ignoring me and she went home. Not knowing that we have CCTV in our place.
She stole my money while I was in the comfort room. (Lady y Badiang presented
the video from the CCTV footage where Rodlyn y Mendoza stole her money from
her wallet).

9. QUESTION: What happened next if there’s anything?

ANSWER: She blocked me from all social media accounts and I decided to
report her to the police.

10. QUESTION: In the meantime, I have no more questions to ask, do you have
anything to add, or retract from your statement?

ANSWER: None so far, Sir.

11. QUESTION: Did somebody coerced, threaten, or give you any reward or
promises in giving this statement of yours?

ANSWER: No, Sir. This is my will to give justice to what she had done to me and
desecration of my humanity.

AFFIDAVIT OF ARREST

I, PCpl VON y NARCISO, of legal age, a bonifide member of PHILIPPINE NATIONAL

POLICE, and presently assigned at Ups 5 Police Sub Station/SS2, Paranaque City
Police Station, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, do hereby
depose and state:
1. That on July 10, 2022 at about 3:00 in the afternoon, while I am performing my
duty and responsibility as a patroller, a woman came to the station and
introduced herself as Lady y Badiang Female, Filipino, 22 years old (DOB: May
22, 2000), Single, 4 th Year College Student and currently living at B7 922 Field
Residences, San Dionisio, Paranaque City. According to her, her money was
stolen by her friend and she submitted us the CCTV footage from her house.

2. That after receiving the information we immediately verify the CCTV footage that
Lady y Badiang submitted to us and it was confirmed that Rodlyn y Medoza did
steal money from Lady y Badiang’s wallet. At that time, we immediately went to
Rodlyn y Mendoza’s house. And there we arrested a woman named RODLYN y
MENDOZA, Female, Filipino, 22 years old (DOB: June 3, 2000), Single, 4 th Year
College Student and currently living at B7 919 Field Residences, San Dionisio,
Paranaque City.

3. That we identified ourselves to the suspect as police officers and members of

Ups 5 Police Sub Station/SS2, and that while my team leader was informing the
reason of her arrest and of her constitutional rights and all of those right were
explained to her in a language that she understood.

4. That she submitted herself to us peacefully; and further identified herself as one
RODLYN y MENDOZA to Olivarez General Hospital (OGH) and that we
immediately brought her to our office for medical examination, investigation, and
proper disposition; and

 5. That I executed this affidavit/statement to attest to the veracity of the
aforementioned facts and support the filing of appropriate charge/s in court
against the arrested suspect.
