Instruction:

This is your assignment for module 3. Read and understand the instruction
below to understand how this activity will be accomplished.

1. Be familiar with the common species of grasses and legumes


recommended and commonly used in pasture establishment; and
2. Learn and classify the different feedstuff used in ruminant production.

1. Give the common and scientific names of the various species of grasses
and legumes used in the establishment of pasture in ruminants. Provide
sample picture/s or image/s for the identified plant species.

2. Fill out the table below with the correct value for each feedstuff and
classify the same to its type/source (concentrates, green roughage,
browse plants, etc.)
