Word Particle
"Mo" も
The japanese particle "mo" means also or too.

Watashi mo! Means me too ! in English

To make it more formal, just add desu at the


end. Watashi mo desu!
SHOWING SIMILARITIES USING "MO" も
For example, you are talking with your friend about your favorite
fruits. Your friend says:
E.g. Watashi wa ichigo ga suki desu. (I like strawberries)

You also like strawberries, so you say:


Watashi mo ichigo ga suki desu. (I like strawberries too.)

By replacing the particle "wa" from the first sentence with the
particle "mo", it gives the meaning of "too"
SHOWING LACK OF PREFERENCE USING
"MO" も
Watashi wa ringo mo ichigo mo suki desu.
(I like both apples and strawberries)

The sentence above means that you like apples and


strawberries equally, without any preferences for one
over the other
EXAMPLE SENTENCES
Anata mo Firipinjin desu ka?
Are you also a Filipino ?

Koohi ga suki desu. Ocha o suki desu.


I like coffee. I also like tea.

Watasi was niku mo yasai mo suki desu.


I like both meat and vegetables

Toire wa doko desu ka? (Where is the toilet? Its over there.)
