Lesson Plan Healthy Foods

A. Reviewing previous lessons or Review: Through showing pictures of food. Let
presenting the new lesson them answer what the taste of the following food
is:
(Review, Drill, Unlocking Difficulties) - Lollipop
- Oranges
- Chips
- Chili
- Milk
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson The students will watch a video presentation
(Motivation) about Healthy and Unhealthy food.

C. Presenting examples/instances of the Like and Dislike: Post a picture that shows
new lesson healthy and unhealthy food. Like icons represent
(Presentation) healthy food, while dislike represents unhealthy
food. The students will choose the pictures and
put them in the Like and Dislike icons.
D. Discussing new concepts and  Discuss the Healthy and Unhealthy Foods

(Guided Practice) The teacher will group them into two and give
them pictures of healthy and unhealthy foods.
The students will choose a picture, stick it on the
plate, and identify whether it is healthy or
unhealthy food.
F. Developing Mastery Recitation:
(Independent Practice) The teacher will provide a box with a picture of
the mouth. The students will identify the foods
that will be put inside the mouth. The teacher
will ask them if it is healthy or unhealthy food.
G. Making generalizations and Pictionary:
abstractions about the lesson The teacher will show different pictures of
(Generalization) Healthy and Unhealthy foods.
Ask them what category it belongs.

Healthy foods are foods that help our body to be


healthy and strong. It nourishes our bodies.
While unhealthy foods contain low nutrition and
can make our bodies sick and weak.
