A QUIET PLACE

Hi, i´m Micaela and i´m going to talk about the film “A quiet place”. First of all i
would like to talk about the title, i think is a very good title because in the film most of
time but not always are quiet, because if they are not quiet the strange creatures will kill
them. Frankly, i would title it “Be calm”. The director of this film is John Krasinski.
Secondly im going to introduce the plot:
It all starts when an amount of strange creatures invade the city. These creatures will kill
you if they hear a noise. And after 89 days of a bad crisis a family, which includes the
mother ,Evelyn, the father, Lee, the young brother, Beau, the middle brother, Marcus
and oldest sister, Reegan (deaf) are in an empty market, and they borrow some things
but the youngest child take a plane that make noises, so when they were walking on the
bridge he suddenly turn it on and after this the strange creature kill him, and all the
family was devastated.
After 400 days of the death of the child, they had figured out a system to not make any
noise, but one day, when Evelyn (the mother) was pregnant,and the kids and the father
were hunting, Evelyn was about to give birth, but she turned on the red lights of the
farm to give a warning and when she was on the bath suffering, the kids and the father
save her lighting fireworks.So after the mother gave birth, Lee sheltered her. But all the
creatures were invading the farm.
Finally when the creatures were about to kill the kids, the father sacrificed himself for
them. Moreover the mother and the kids are ready to kill them all.

The place of this film is a little town in the United States and the time i don´t really
now because is not a real situation, but they have televisions and computers so i think is
the current era.
The main characters are the father Lee (John Krasinski) and i will describe him like
a brave person, generous and intelligent. Also the mother Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and i
will describe her like a brave person, tough person and a happy person in spite of all that
has happened. Then the older sister Reegan (Millicent Simmonds) and i will describe
her like a smart person, reserved and brave. Finally the middle brother Marcus (Noah
Jupe) i will describe him like a scared person, intelligent and sad person.
My favourite character is the father Lee because he protects his kids and he even
sacrifices himself for them. Also i think he is so smart for having developed a system in
which it does not make any noise.
A quatation of the film is “If they can't hear you, they can't catch you”
