2. Why did you choose UK for your studies?
I have chosen UK for my further studies because
1. The UK is one of the world’s most popular destinations to study higher education, with more than
500,000 international students enrolling each year.

2. It is one of the world’s leading destinations for international students, second only to the USA. UK
universities are among the best in the world, and consistently perform well in world rankings.
They also have a reputation for world-class research.
3. UK higher education degrees and qualifications are recognised by employers and academics
worldwide.
4. Students get the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, critical thinking, and connections
to drive forward their careers.

3. Have you considered this course in any other country or in Pakistan?


This course is being offered in some other countries like Australia, USA as well however; I have
selected UK as Pakistani laws are primarily based on UK laws. Moreover; UK universities rank the
best in terms of providing quality education to its students. UK universities also offer Master
programs which can be completed in less time as compared to other countries. Study expenses
are also much affordable as compared to some other countries. This course is also being offered
in Pakistan in many universities like Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Punjab University etc
however; the quality of education system in Pakistan is not at par with UK education system.
Moreover; I want to get a degree, which is internationally accepted all over the world. I strongly
believe that getting degree from UK will definitely help me in my future career on my return to
my home country. I have specific interest in comparative commercial law as I am already working
as a practicing lawyer in M/S Rana Asif Saeed & Associates located in Multan. Many universities in
UK fall within first 50 in worldwide ranking and this aspect of quality education inspired me to
choose UK as my next study destination.

4. Which specific aspects of this course attracted you to it? / Why did you choose to study this
course? Do you know the modules / structure of this course?
I have studied criminology, Civil, Family, Service Banking and other subjects during my LLB and I
was specifically attracted to these courses that’s why I have decided to pursue my further
education in as it has huge scope not only in Pakistan but all around the world. I think that t oday
practising lawyers and those who develop and administer the law are increasingly

confronted by issues demanding a comparative approach and the skills of comparative legal

analysis.

I have looked over the course contents of this degree on BPP university website and I have come
to know that this program consists of 3 terms. I have also opted for professional development
and practice program as this will give me an opportunity to have a valuable work experience,
which will be pre-requisite to complete my degree.

5. How this course will be assessed? Why did you choose this institution and where it is located?
Where does the university rank in the field of your course?
During my research for study in UK, I came across many other universities like imperial college
business school, London and Brunel university London but I have selected BPP university as its
much affordable as compared to other universities.
Fees for one year in Imperial college is 29500 pounds and in Brunel university is 18000 Pounds,
which is much higher. Moreover; over 11,000 students are currently studying in BPP, which
shows confidence of international students in this institution. Moreover; studying at BPP will give
me an opportunity to join a diverse and multicultural community of students as students from
more than 100 countries are studying in BPP at present. Moreover; BPP University is part of the
BPP Education Group, responsible for delivering education within:

• All the Big 4 accountancy firms


• Four of the top five UK banks
• 60 leading law firms
• Eight of the top 10 professional services firms
• Four of the five Magic Circle firms
• 90% of FTSE 100 companies

Location of BPP:

BPP is located in London with multiple campuses in London, Waterloo, London Liverpool Street. I
understand that as mentioned on my offer letter, I will study this degree at London (Shepherds Bush)
campus.

Note: BPP University is a private university that focuses on professionals from industry teaching professionals. As
BPP do not have any research-based courses, this excludes BPP from the Complete University Guide ranking table,
where one of the rating criteria is research.

6. Can you tell me about the local area / amenities?

2. London is the top choice for international studying looking to study abroad. Over 100,000
international students are studying in London every year. International students come
from over 200 different nations, making London a global, vibrant and diverse city.  
3. London’s universities offer cutting-edge research, world-class facilities and globally
recognised qualifications.
4. London is a great city for students to live in. There are numerous cultural offerings which
are ideal for students who are looking for a culturally enriching study experience. There
are over 1,000 museums and galleries in London, and most of them are free! There are
also over 100 cinemas, over 100 parks to enjoy the British sunshine, over 350 live music
venues, over 5,000 restaurants serving food from around the world and over 7,000 bars
and pubs to have fun with your friends.
7. Which other institution did you consider? Did you apply to these universities?
During my research for study in UK, I came across many other universities like imperial college
business school, London and Brunel university London but I have selected BPP university as its

education in affordable fee in BPP university, therefore, I haven’t applied to any other
universities/ colleges in UK.
8. What was the last course of study you completed and when was this? What have you been
doing since you completed that course?

I have completed my MBA program recently this year and now I have decided to pursue further
education in field of Project Management and keeping in view the same, I have applied in BPP
university. I am presently working as Business Development Manager in Frogmen Technologies from
August 2019 to date.

9. What are your future plans?
1. Upon successful completion of my degree I aspire to immediately return back to Pakistan
as I believe in giving back to the country.
2. I also have my family in Pakistan and I would like to join them after my degree completion
in UK.
3. I aim to work in any corporate organization or Govt run projects like CPEC where I will be
able to earn a handsome salary keeping in view of the fact that I will be a graduate from
UK.

4. I believe that I will be able to get a handsome salary after getting degree from UK as any
degree from UK is warmly accepted in Pakistan based on its quality of education. I will
definitely have an edge over other local graduates.
5. After studying in an English speaking country, I believe that my English speaking skills will
also further improve and this aspect will certainly help me in my future career in Pakistan.

10. Do you have company in mind to work for?


After getting degree in project management, I will have multiple opportunities in my Home
country. I will be able to work as manager in different sectors offering upcoming projects
however; my aim is to work in an internationally renowned CPEC project, which is presently
undergoing in Pakistan.
11. What is your expected salary upon your return to your home country? How did you arrive at
this figure?
I have done some online and market search and I have come to know that a good project
manager gets around Rs. 100,000 as starting salary in Pakistan and after that based on good
performance, one can easily get up to Rs. 300,000 to 500,000 per month.

12. How much will it cost you to complete this course in full?
Total fee of this course is 16,220 Pounds but I have been given a scholarship of 3720 pounds and
now my total course fee is 12,500 Pounds payable in instalments. 1st instalment of £5,700 upon
enrolment before a CAS is issued, 2nd instalment of £3,800 due by 28 August 2020 and Final
instalment of £3,000 due by 26 March 2021
13. Are the funds in your account?
Yes, these funds are in my account.
14. Where have the funds in your account come from?

My parents will be supporting me during my study period in UK and the funds have been given by
my father.

15. What job does your financial sponsor do? What is your financial sponsor’s income?
My father is a __________________ and he earns around more than Rs. __________ per month.

My parents have a dream like I have to pursue a degree from an internationally recognized
destination in terms of quality of education that’s why they have decided to support me during

No but I will try to support my parents being a moral obligation.
UK living related questions
19. Where will you live whilst in the UK? How much will your accommodation cost per week &
each month? What is traveling cost?
I have searched online and I will be living near to BPP university. I have looked upon Bowden
Court Notting Hill accommodation, which is around 105 Pounds per week and 23 mins walking
distance away from BPP university, Shepherds Bush Campus.
Travelling cost of Subway or by Bus is 2 Pound from Bowden Court Residence to BPP Shepherds
Bush Campus. I searched this information online. If I get any taxi, it will cost me around 6 to 8
Pounds.
20. Do you have any friends and family in the UK? If so where do they live, what relation are they
and what is their name.
No, I don’t have any friends and family in UK.
