POLICE SYSTEM IN HAITI
- is the law enforcement and de facto police force of Haiti.
- It was created in 1995 to bring public security under civilian control as mandated in Haiti's constitution.

Because of the increasing attacks on police and corruption inside the ranks, many police officers have left the force and even fled the country since 2021. Some go to the United States, others to Panama and Mexico.

• Increased international cooperation in matters of curriculum development for basic training, and teaching practice;
• The overhaul of the structure and administrative practices of the National Academy of Police, to parity with international institutions like best. Mission:

Why does Haiti included in the worst policing system?
