Internal inlet pipes and stiling well, as well as vortex breaker shall be provided inside the Diesel tank.
Diesel Tank shall be provided with a gauge hatch and 2 nos. of pressure/vacuum relief valve vents at the
top.
Access platform with handrail and access caged ladder shall be provided for Diesel Tank. All structural
steels shall be hot-dipped galvanized.
5 HYDROTEST FOR TANKS
‘Tank Hydrotest shall be done with Sea Water with corrosion inhibitor (Jet flushed and thoroughly cleaned
with fresh water, after hydrotest with sea water).
The works to be performed by the Contractor shall consist of the following major items:
a, Design, supply and installation of steel dome roofs, and steel cone roofs. This should include stair
arrangements and a centre platform at the centre of all roofs
b. Design, supply and installation of free vent, and gauge hatches.
. Allshop and field painting work
d. Provide supports for cables, deluge piping and foam pipe extinguishing system
e. Provide spiral stairways, interconnecting walkways
f. Design, supply and construction of supports for internal piping
8. Jack up of tanks due to uneven settlement during the tank erection and after the water filing test, as
applicable, if outside of applicable Code limitation.

hh. All shop and field painting work including painting of large tank numbering tag numbers at the outer
surface of the tanks at 2 locations to be determined later by the Employer.
'n addition to the above, the scope of work shall consist out of the requirements as stipulated inside the
provided datasheets, drawings and documentation.
3 ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR STORAGE TANKS
a. Design, fabrication, erection, installation, testing and inspection of the tanks shall be done in accordance
with API 650.
b. During the detailed design phase, Contractor shall verify this selection and the tank anchoring
requirements, taking into account the worst-case wind, seismic and bund flooding scenarios.
. Suction and discharge nozzles shall be the API regular type per API 650 unless otherwise specified.
d. Insulated tank shall have nozzles with an increased nozzle projection in order to allow the flange
connections to be outside the insulated surface
€. Supports and galvanized cable conduits for mounting cable trays to the tank shell, shall be provided on
all tanks.
f. External painting of the tanks shall be carried out after the hydrostatic test.
g. The earth lugs of all tanks shall be provided.
h. The lighting and conduit bracket for the spiral stairway of all tanks shall be provided.
i. During the entire construction/erection period of the tank shell sections, sufficient lashing shall be
provided in order to stabilize the tank and to protect it against damages during adverse weather

4 INSPECTION AND TESTING
Al inspection and testing shall be executed in accordance with the requirements and acceptance criteria
set out in the applicable codes and standards
a, The tank bottom plate shall be vacuum tested.
b. All welds shall be visually as well as 10% X-ray inspected.
c. Radiographic inspections shall be carried out in accordance with code requirements,
d. The tanks shall be hydrostatically tested. The Contractor shall prepare and submit for approval a test
schedule. The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, temporary blind flanges and lines.
Fresh water and inhibitors shal be used for testing the carbon ste! tank. The Contractor shall remove=
all the temporary facilities and all the water after the water test, and shall clean the-tant sR

fe. Settlement of the tank foundation shall be monitored and recorded during the hydrostatic test.
3.5.5 MISCELLANEOUS
a, The Contractor shall measure and calibrate the tanks in accordance with API Chapter 2 ~Tank Calibration
and shall furnish two (2) sets of certified calibration tables. Each set of tables shall show the amount of,
liquid expressed in liters (I) for every millimetre (mm) increment of the liquid level. The strapping
surveyor selected for the calibration shall be acceptable to the Employer.
Calibration measurements shall be executed in line 1SO 7507-4 Internal Electro-Optical Ranging Method.
b. Tank design verification, inspection, and certification by approved third party shall be provided by
Contractor.
©. The Tank strapping table shall follow the existing format as ATB’s P2E project (100% shell capacity
calibration)
d. The Contractor shall carry out accurate Volumetric calculation for the pipelines.
3.6 STRUCTURAL STEEL
3.6.1 GENERAL
‘This part of the Employer's requirements covers the requirements for the structural steel and related works
to be carried out for the Employer's Project.
3.6.2 SCOPE OF WORK
Contractor shall be responsible for all engineering, procurement and construction works required to be
‘carried out and completed for the work as described. Contractor shall furnish the supply of sufficient
manpower and supervision in order to execute the detailed engineering activities such as detail design,
Benerating technical documents, calculation sheets, drawings and specifications etc. The construction
works shall include the supply of all labour and supervision, temporary and permanent materials,
equipment's, tools, consumables like water and power, scaffolding and other devices, not to be specifically
stated to be furnished by Employer or others to perform the works as defined hereafter for the Employer
terminal and its related facilities.
The Scope of Work, also referred to as the Work, includes but is not limited to the following:
