The culmination of this event is through the National Teachers Day (NTD]/World Teachers Day (WTD}Celebration held every 5" of October of the current year. 2. For this school year, DepEd shall hold this national event on October 5, 2022 in Abra Sports Complex, Bangued, Abra to be hosted by the Cordillera Administrative Region with the theme “Gurong Pilipino: Dangal ng Sambayanang Pilipino". This will be participated only by the selected teaching personnel of the host region and selected DepEd Central Office personnel and stakeholders. 3. DepEd MIMAROPA Region together with the other Regions nationwide shall participate virtually. Bach region shall have Five Hundred (600) teachers’ slots for the raffle draws. Those interested to qualify on the raffle draws, may register, and accomplish the details required on https:/ /bit.y/2022NTDRegistration. Raffle draw ‘winners shall be announced during the NTD/WTD celebration. This event shall be streamed live on DepEd Philippines official Facebook page. 4. Furthermore, all Schools Division Offices as well as elementary and secondary ‘schools regionwide are also encouraged to conduct a simple NTD/WTD celebration fon October 5, 2022 through the coordination of the Division Partnership Focal Persons. The activity may be spearheaded by the Supreme Pupil Government (elementary level) or by the Supreme Student Government (secondary level) with the assistance of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Provision of Health and Wellnes Programs such as Medical-Dental-Eye Check-Up, therapeutic massage, hair and make-up tutorials, foot spa for teachers and others are the suggested activities. Minimum health standards hall likewise be observed during the conduct of such activities.
