First, in writing the number 12, we will start on top(blue line)


going to the bottom(blue line) . That’s for the first number,
then beside it let’s write a curve line going down and then put a
straight line here.

Now, let’s try to count the objects we have here in our
classroom.

Let’s start with the paints.

How many paints did we count?

Next, let’s count the scissors.

:There are 12 scissors?

How many scissors do we have?


Then, let’s count the triangle blocks. : There are 12 triangle shape.
How many triangle shapes we have?

Let us try to count how many rectangle blocks we have.

: There are 12 rectangle blocs.

How many rectangle blocks did we count?

Lastly, let’s count the square blocks.


: There are 12 square blocks.
How many square blocks do we have?

F. Generalization Again , what number comes after number 11? : Number 12!

How many square blocks, rectangle blocks, triangle blocks did : 12!

How about the paints and scissors? :12!

And that is the number 12.

G. Application Instruction: The teacher will divide the class into 2 or 3 groups. Group 1
Each group will have an object to count. They must present 12
objects only. The one who gets the counting right will have a (Group 1 will count 12 square blocks only and present

V. Evaluation Instructions: Count and color 12 spoons.
