As most people spend a major part of their adult life at work, job satisfaction is an
important element of individual wellbeing.

What factors contribute to job satisfaction?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge.

INTRODUCTION

In order to get the best life and survive, nowadays, most people have to spend a relevant
part of their life at work; job satisfaction is a key component for everyone, because it is
fundamental to do something you really like and enjoy much, however, most of them do not
really enjoy their jobs because their satisfaction is poor or low. Factors such as work
environment, salary and opportunities to improve in it make essential factors in our work
experience.

BODY 1 (Factors contribute to job satisfaction)

There are several factors which make us have the best experience and satisfaction at work,
as for instance: the salary: which is one of them really fundamental, because most of the
people work to survive and be capable of having the necessary things which they need in
their daily life; we have to spend one part of our income on buying food, clothes, paying bills
and maintaining our families, so the salary is an essential part of the result of our jobs.
Another factor which contributes to job satisfaction is the work environment, which is an
important factor that contributes that we feel comfortable on a team setting, working with our
colleagues, and our ideas are listening thus allowing high probabilities to improve at work.

BODY 1 (Job satisfaction for all workers)

It is a shame that everyone does not have the same work conditions, therefore, the job
satisfaction differs from one person to another. Some of them don’t feel comfortable because
of their salaries or opportunities to improve in their companies, this depends on the company
and the key factors that they implemented to satisfy the workers. Over time, companies are
more conscious of the importance of valuing and caring more about their employees, they
are offering a wide variety of benefits such as medical insurances, flexible schedule and
better salaries.

BODY 3 (Personal opinion)

However, In my opinion, I think that companies have to care more the employees and bring
them much opportunities to improve and encourage to be better. When you do not feel good
at work, the passion which You do your tasks is low, for example: if there is someone who
deserve a salary increase and this sees, that over time, He does not receive it, it is probably
that his job satisfaction is getting lower.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, Job satisfaction is not equal for everyone, this depends on many factors, such
as how one feels at work related to the salary they earn, the opportunities to improve in our
companies and the things that the companies do in order to care and encourage their
workers. There are some companies that really care their employers offering additional
benefits but there are other ones which do not contribute for the employees satisfaction.

Some people believe that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime.
Others, however, argue that circumstances of an individual crime, and the motivation
for committing it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the
punishment.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

INTRODUCTION

Nowadays, the punishments are implemented in order to teach and penalize the people
when they misbehave made any sort of crime, as for instance: killing, stealing and abusing
people. The discussion is about what will be the different punishments for each type of crime
and if these are implemented in a different way depending on the kind of crime how many
people think. ___

BODY 1 (Fixed punishments)

To start with, fixed punishment is really important to understand that there are different kinds
of crime and the punishments must be according to its severity, thus the government and
responsible people have to decide and make decisions regarding what are the specific
punishments for a crime, including salary punishments and sentencing. All of this in order to
have easier ways to decide a punishment when a crime is done and also because every
type of crime is equal and everyone has the right to equal rights.

BODY 2 (Individual crime)

However, some people believe that the punishments must be objected according to specific
and individual situations, which made that the crime made that mad thing, for example,
sometimes there are accidental crimes and the people are not 100% aware of the things that
are doing and it depends on the personal behaviour and whether the person is dangerous or
not, in order to choose a best punishments.

BODY 3 (Personal opinion)

I personally think that we deserve equal rights, so, it is important to be conscious of doing
things very well, otherwise, there will be penalties and we have to afront the responsibilities
of our decisions and acts, so, the government has to decide fixed and right punishments for
everybody. The punishments have to be made as a consequence of the bad acts that we
made, there are not bad and good crimes, every one of them has severe
consequences and the people should take responsibility for it.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, everyone has to be conscious of the things we do, I agree that We must have
fixed and rights punishments for every kind of crime.

Writing Task 2

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Write about the following topic:

It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for
sport or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child
can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge.

Write at least 250 words.

INTRODUCTION

The talents are specific areas which make us distinctive because of our performance in
terms of our best skills such as sport or music. Some people strongly believe that people
ARE born with these in a natural way, on the other hand, another amount Number of
people think that any child can learn any ability while are growing. In fact, these two views
are mainly true due to some researches and some personal experiences that evidence the
possibility of developing and increasing our abilities.

BODY 1 (Born with talents)

To start with, some children are very good at sport or music because they were born
with these talents, I consider them so lucky ones and there are some researches and articles
which say that it is very probable that a born child inherits the skills and talents of their
parents because of the familiar blood. I have had the opportunity of meeting friends and
close people with artistic and sports talents for example, child with talents in sports because
they have inherited all these skills of their family, sports family. Most people believe they are
very lucky people due to the natural way to born with these.

BODY 2 (learned talents)

On the other hand, several schools around the world are enabling the chance that child can
learn and develop themselves in any kind of art. talents, It is highly probable that when
you want to improve a specific skill, it could be developing with practice and more practice,
you just have to be very patient and have special education about the talent skill that you
want to improve. There are some sport clubs and music schools where any child can enroll
and start practising in order to get the best expertise and improve their performance. In my
case, I had the opportunity when I was a child of taking music classes at school without any
previous experience about it and I could develop some aspects and music skills.

CONCLUSION

We can conclude that some child is born with a specific talent because they inherited these
from their parents but other children develop these skills while they are studying and learning
at some schools. This approach depends on the conditions of everyone while some child
have to take an effort to improve their skills for others it could be easier because they have
these in a natural way.
