Comparatives Rule and Exercises

This document provides examples of how to form comparatives in English. It explains that for one-syllable adjectives the comparative is formed by adding -er, for adjectives ending in consonant-vowel-consonant the final consonant is doubled before adding -er, and for two-syllable adjectives ending in -y the -y becomes -i before adding -er. For adjectives of two or more syllables the comparative is formed by adding "more" before the adjective. The document then provides a matching exercise and sentences to complete using the comparative form of given adjectives.
