AREA E-REMITTANCE MANUAL

1. How to login
If you already have your password

I. Visit [Link]
II. Input your phone number
III. Input your password
IV. Click login

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PASSWORD (FOR AREA PASTORS/ADMINS ONLY)

For PIC Area: Click on ‘send me my password ‘and input your phone number. The
portal would send you your password via SMS if your number is registered as a PIC
Area on the provincial directory (Area admins should please input their pastors
phone number not theirs).

If your phone number is not registered please contact your provincial administrator
he would create an access for you.

2. HOW TO POST YOUR PROGRESS REPORT (ATTENDANCE, BIRTH, DEMISE,


CONVERTS, ETC)

i. Click on ‘Add Progress Report’

ii. Click on select parish and pick a parish to post


iii. Click Add Report
iv. Input the figures accordingly (If you are posting with a computer You can use tab
or the arrow key to move from one field to another) [image below]
v. After Inputting the figures click on ‘Submit Report’ below
vi. After cross checking the records click on ‘Approve Records’.
**CLICK MAIN MENU (ON THE TOP LEFT HAND SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN[RED
BACKGROUND] ) AND REPEAT STEPS (i – vi) FOR ALL PARISHES UNDER YOUR
AREA

3. ADD FINANCIAL REPORT


On the main menu click on ‘Add Financial Report’

1. Select the area by clicking on ‘Select Area’ then select your area

2. Choose the month & year (ignore if it is already on the month & year that
you want to view )
3. Click on the ‘Add Report’ button

4. Click on ‘add’ as shown in the image above.


Insert the 100% remittance figure (As you type the In cases where the 100% is unavailable but the amount to
software would automatically calculate the amount to be be remitted is, simply input the amount to be remitted
remitted on the right side) then click on the box (as shown by the arrow) . The
software would automatically calculate the 100%

Input foreign currencies (if available)

I. Input the 100% forex amount (if available)


II. Select the remittance Item

III. Select the currency

5. Submit Remittance (You must click on the ‘submit Remittance’ Button to


post the remittance)

6. Add another parish

7. You can edit the previously added parish remittance (unless it is locked)

**Note: the green tick symbolizes a posted parish while the Red symbolizes parishes
yet to be posted

**At the top of the page [view report Status] you can view how many areas posted
and not posted

**Look below on the summary sheet it automatically calculates how much your
area is to remit to the province. All you have to do is to write a cheque
corresponding to that amount.

4. UPLOAD SOURCE DOCUMENT


Please note you are to scan The Front Page Only of the paper remittance form for
all the parishes under your area and upload it on the RCCG Portal.

FOR LAPTOP USERS

How to scan and upload your source document (remittance form)

This is just a suggestion.

 Create a folder on your computer e.g on the desktop and name the folder the
month that you are scanning e.g Nov 2016 scanned remittance forms.

 Scan the remittance forms and name with the name of the parish. e.g if you
scan love parish remittance form. after scanning save it as love parish for easy
identification.

FOR TABLET/ IPAD/MOBILE PHONE USERS

 Instead of scanning, You can take a photo of the remittance form and save it
on your mobile device. Please note that for the picture to be acceptable by
us it must be clear, readable, straight and capture the whole of the
remittance form.

 Save with the name of the parish. e.g if you snap love parish remittance form
save it as love parish for easy identification.

After scanning or snapping all the front pages of the remittance form for all the
parishes under your area.

Logon to the portal - click on main menu - Upload source document (the third
icon)

iv. Click 'choose file' or 'browse' and select the parish. e.g to upload the remittance
form of love parish, click choose file and locate love parish on your computer or
mobile device and select it. Then under 'select parish' select love parish.

v. click upload

** Upload the scanned/snapped remittance forms for all the parishes under the
area.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


1. I DON’T HAVE A LAPTOP OR COMPUTER HOW DO I POST?

The portal is mobile compatible. That means that you can post using any internet
enabled device. Tablets, ipads, mobile phones, etc

2. I DON’T HAVE A PASSWORD?

Scroll to the top of this tutorial on the 1st page, how to obtain a password is stated
there.

3. WHO CAN POST FOR THE AREA?

The PIC Area can decide to post himself or delegate the posting/scanning to the
area admin or anyone that he can TRUST. He simply gives his phone number and
password to the person doing the posting. Please note that the PIC Area should
change his password if he feels that his password has been compromised.

4. I MADE A MISTAKE WHILE POSTING CAN I MAKE A CORRECTION

YES. While posting progress or financial report you can reselect the parish in ‘add
report’ make the necessary changes and save. Changes would immediately be
reflected in the province record

5. IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR POSTING

Yes. The deadline for posting is visible on the add report screen. You can also
contact your provincial admin / accountant for the deadline. The portal locks after
the deadline. That means after the deadline you can no longer post or edit a post.

6. DO I STILL GO TO THE PROVINCE FOR REMITTTANCE

Yes. For now you would still take the written cheques to the province for the
provincial accountant to approve your remittance. However the good thing is that
you no longer need to wait. Simply submit the cheque to the accountant he/she
approves your remittance and you leave.

7. INCASE OF ISSUES WHO DO I CONTACT

Please contact your provincial admin or accountant.
