MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
There are a variety of things to do before installing any new plumbing system into your
RV. Before you begin work make sure you:
¨ Shut off the main water supply
¨ Cover your drain to prevent loss of parts
¨ Observed any local plumbing codes
¨ Inspect fixture for damage - Replace as necessary

INSTALLATION OF THE FAUCET
1 Remove Mounting Nuts
Remove the mounting nut and washers from threaded collar of the spout. Remove the
mounting nut and nylon washer from the threaded collar of the body. Note that the
black rubber gasket at the base of the faucet body and spout remains in place to
create a seal after the faucet is installed.
2 Install Faucet Spout
Install the faucet spout through the hole in the sink/counter top. Slide washers to the
threaded collar followed by the mounting nut. Thread the mounting nut to the
underside of the sink and tighten.
3 Install Faucet Body
Install the faucet body through the hole in the sink/counter top. Slide the nylon washer
up to the threaded collar followed by the mounting nut. Thread the mounting nut to the
underside of the sink.
4 Position Faucet Body
Rotate faucet body to the desired angle. Tighten the mounting nut until the faucet is
secure being careful not to over tighten. Then, tighten screws on mounting nut for
additional stabilization.
5 Install Side Sprayer (optional)
Rotate faucet body to the desired angle. Tighten the mounting nut until the faucet is
secure being careful not to over tighten. Then, tighten screws on mounting nut for
additional stabilization.
6 Connect Hoses
If installing a side sprayer, remove the cap to the hose and attach it to the sprayer. If
not installing a side sprayer, keep the end cap attached to the hose for the sprayer.
After doing so, connect the hot water supply to the longer of the two flexible supply
hoses and the cold water supply to the shorter.
7 Remove Aerator/Check Lines
Remove the aerator from the end of the spout and run the water for 30 to 60 seconds
to flush the lines. While doing this check to ensure that all of the connections are tight
and there are no leaks. Reinstall aerator. You can now enjoy your Dura Faucet!
