1. SLIDE SHOW: start/stop slideshow & select duration. 2. PHOTO: browse photos. 3. AUTO ZOOM: display photo in different formats. 4. ZOOM: zoom into photos. 5. EXIT: get out of current mode and move to one level up. 6. ENTER: confirm selection/make photo quality adjustment. /DIRECTION: : UP : Down : Left (display previous photo) : Right (display next photo) 7. COPY: copy photos between memory devices. 8. ROTATE: rotate selected photos at 90, 180 or 270. 9. CALENDAR: display Calendar mode. 10. SETUP: display Settings menu. 11. COLOUR BOOSTER: turn colour enhancement on/off. 12. MENU: display main MENU. 13. DELETE: delete selected photo from memory.

Note: Always turn off the Photo Frame before connecting or disconnecting the AC adaptor. Only use the AC adaptor supplied with this Photo Frame. Using a different type of adaptor may cause malfunction or damage to the product. When the AC adaptor is used for a prolonged period of time, the adaptor may heat up, this is normal and is not a cause for concern. When not using the Photo Frame, unplug the adaptor from the outlet.

Note: if no file is stored in the device, the Photo Frame displays No Picture Found. 6. Use and or Internal. to select the SD/MMC/MS/xD or CF or USB

Three Viewing Modes

You can view photos in three ways: Browse, Thumbnail and Slideshow.

Connecting an SD Card or USB Stick

1. Insert the memory card or USB stick into the appropriate slot of the Photo Frame, making sure that the metal contacts of SD/MMC/MS/xD memory card are facing the front of the Photo Frame. 2. To remove, simply pull out the SD card or USB stick.

Do not expose this device to excessive moisture, rain or heat sources. Keep the device away from direct sunlight. Use ONLY the AC adaptor supplied with the device. Do not spill liquids on or inside the device.

Getting Started
Attach the Stand
1. Screw in the stand to the stand screw hole on the back of the Photo Frame. 2. Adjust the stand position for vertical or horizontal placement, tighten the screw.

Note: 1. If you use Memory Stick Pro, a Memory Stick Pro-toMemory Stick adaptor must be used otherwise the card can be stuck in the slot. 2. If your memory card is not listed above, you can use a USB - CARD READER to connect to the Photo Frame.

Method 1: Press SLIDE SHOW to start the slideshow, repeatedly press SLIDE SHOW to select the duration of each photo (3Sec, 5Sec, 1Min, 15Min, 1Hour, 1Day). To stop the slideshow, repeatedly press SLIDE SHOW to select Slideshow Off. Method 2: 1. Press SETUP, use and to select Auto Slide Set. 2. Press and to select Slideshow On. 3. Press EXIT to confirm and get out. 4. On any page, the Photo Frame starts the slideshow automatically if no key is pressed for more than 30 seconds. 5. To stop the slideshow on any page, use steps 2 to 3 to select Slideshow Off.

Replacing the Clock Batteries

The clock function is backed up by a battery in case of power interruption. 1. Open the battery compartment cover in the back of the Photo Frame by using a coin. 2. Remove the old battery and insert a fresh 3V lithium battery with the polarity ( + ) facing up as marked. 3. Replace the compartment cover.

Browse Photos
Method 1: The Photo Frame is in browse mode when you press PHOTO after selecting the storage device. Use to view the next photo and to view the previous photo. Method 2: In Slide show mode, repeatedly press SLIDE SHOW to select Slideshow Off to stop the slide show and enter browse mode, use to browse the next photo and to browse the previous photo. Method 3: In Thumbnail mode, press then press ENTER and use and and to select the photo, to browse photos.

Viewing Photos
Preparation
1. Connect AC adaptor as described above. 2. Slide POWER ON /OFF to the ON position, the POWER INDICATOR illuminates. 3. The Uniden logo screen appears and then the main menu screen. 4. Adjust the screen brightness using the Brightness Adjustment Knob ( ) on the back of the frame and the Photo Frame starts the slideshow automatically. Note: if the brightness setting is at the minimum, the screen is dark. (The photo automatically turns 90 as the Photoframe turns 90) 5. Insert your memory card into SD/MMC/MS/xD, CF slots, and USB stick into USB Host, use and to select PHOTO, press ENTER to display the connected devices.

View Photo
If the Photo Frame is playing photos either in Browse or Slide show mode, simply press EXIT to enter Thumbnail mode.

Setting Slideshow (Duration and Effect)

Slideshow Duration
This determines the display time of each photo before changing to the next. To change: Method 1: Repeatedly press SLIDE SHOW to select the duration.

Connect the AC Adaptor

1. Connect the AC adaptor into DC IN 5V jack, and the other end into a standard 240V AC power outlet.

To standard 240V AC power outlet

The red frame indicates this device was last selected to display photos. The frame remains until the new device is selected.

Method 2: 1. Press SETUP, use and to select Slide Show Duration. 2. Use and to select the duration time. 3. Press EXIT to confirm and get out.

Slideshow Effect
This is the movement to bring a new slide on the screen. To change: 1. Press SETUP, use and to select Slide Show Effect. 2. Use and to select the effect. 3. Press EXIT to confirm and get out.

Default Setting
Follow these steps to set Default value: 1. Press SETUP, use and to select Default.

Enhancing Photo Quality

The COLOUR BOOSTER function uses proprietary technology to boost your photos quality by enhancing its colour, sharpness and contast. To enable this function simply repeatedly press COLOUR BOOSTER, it cycles through the three display modes: original photo, comparison and enhanced photo.

Note: Reset to default setting will not change the time and date.

Copying from Memory Card or USB to Internal Memory

Method 1: 1. Select the media source (memory card, USB). 2. Display the photos in thumbnail mode. 2. Use to select the photos to be copied, press COPY and the target storage devices dialog appears on the to make your selection, and press ENTER screen, use to make the copy, File Copied appears, press ENTER to confirm. 3. Repeat step 3 to copy another photo. Method 2: 1. Select the media source (memory card, USB). 2. Display the photos in browse or slide show mode. 3. Press COPY, Copy To Internal Memory dialog appears on the screen, and press ENTER to confirm. 4. Repeat step 3 to copy another photo.

Adjusting Brightness, Contrast and Colour

You can adjust your photos brightness, contast and colour saturation following these steps: 1. While viewing the photo, press and hold ENTER, the adjustment bars appears on the screen. 2. Use to select brightness ( ), contrast ( ) and colour saturation ( ). 3. Repeatedly press to adjust the settings. 4. Press EXIT to confirm and save the change, and get out.

Slideshow Duration

You can zoom in (1.3, 1.5, 2) your photos by repeatedly pressing ZOOM. On zoom-in photo, use to pan through the enlarged image, and press EXIT to return to the original

Rotating Your Photos

You can rotate your photos to view them at different angles. 1. Select your desired photo. 2. Repeatedly press ROTATE to rotate the photos to your desired angle.

Changing Opening Screen Photo

You can use any photo stored in the Internal Memory for opening screen photo when the Photo Frame is first turned on. 1. Select Internal Memory. 2. Display the photos in thumbnail mode. 3. Press COPY, Set boot logo? appears, select OK and press ENTER to confirm.

AUTO ZOOM
You can view photos in three formats: Original, Full Screen, Auto Zoom. Repeatedly press AUTO ZOOM to view Original, Full Screen, Auto Zoom. In Auto zoom mode, if your original photo is too small, the Photo Frame may not be ablet o fill the photo in the whole screen.

Time Set Default

Set the date and time Return settings to the default (factory) settings.

Reset Settings

Deleting Photos from memory cards, USB or internal memory

Method 1: 1. Select the media source (memory card, USB, internal memory). 2. Display the photos in thumbnail mode. to select the photos to be deleted. 3. Use 4. Press DELETE and the dialog box appears on the screen. 5. Use and to select OK, and press ENTER to delete. 6. Repeat step 3 to 5 to delete another photo. Method 2: 1. Select the internal memory. 2. Display the photos in browse or slide show mode. 3. Press DELETE and the deleting dialog box appears on the screen. 4. Use and to select OK, and press ENTER to delete. 5. Repeat step 3 to 4 to delete another photo.

Troubleshooting
Symptom Does not recognize USB, USB-Card Reader or memory cards Check 1. Check if the card or USB is inserted correctly and has a good contact with the socket. 2. The USB, or USB-card reader, or Memory Card does not comply with the USB or card reader of the Photo Frame, and you need to use computer to transfer the photo to a compliant USB or memory card. 1. Make sure the AC Power cord is securely plugged into an AC outlet. 2. Check Power switch is at ON position. 3. Check the Brightness Adjustment knob is not set at the minimum. 1. Remove and insert Memory Card or USB and make sure the are properly inserted in place. 2. Make sure the image files are in correct format (JPEG, BMP). Note: You may use the Microsoft Paint program to display the wrong-format image and save the image as standard JPEG or BMP before displaying on this Photo Frame. The automatic photo rotation when the Photo Frame is turned 90 degree does not work The sensor may be stuck, shake or tap the Photo Frame to loosen up the sensor.

Showing Time and Calendar

You can display time and calendar any time by pressing CALENDAR, press EXIT to get out. Follow these steps to set date and time: 1. Press SETUP, use and to select Time Set. 2. Repeatedly press and to select the year, month, day and time, then use and to set the correct settings. 3. Press EXIT to confirm and get out. Note: In the case of a power interruption, the built-in battery maintains the correct time and date.
