NCP Fatigue

The client, who is 20-22 weeks pregnant, reported fatigue related to her pregnancy. The short term goal was for the client to identify the basis of her fatigue within 1 hour of nursing interventions. The long term goal was for the client to report an improved sense of energy within 8 hours of nursing interventions. After nursing interventions that included developing an activity and rest schedule, encouraging the use of assistive devices, and assessing ADLs, nutritional intake, and emotional response, the client was able to identify the basis of her fatigue and reported improved energy levels.
