4) WORKING DRAWINGS

Gonerete hollow blocks shell be of type 2, losd bearing size
os shown in the drewings. C.H.B. block units shell be leid in
running bond with the verticel joints steggored and embedded
in norter. Jolls shall be reinforced in the vertical direction
with 12mm bers et not more then 60 Cms on center. Any protrud-
ing bedding morter shell be sereped off.

gin, Floor tiles of toilets and showers shell be of vitrified un-
glezed tiles of locel origin ( color, quelity to be specified by
the owner. Tiles shell be free from leminations, serratededge
chipped off corners end other imperfections affecting thier que-
lity, strength and eppeorance. Tiles shell be crouted with white
cement after minimum of twenty four hours has clepsed efter ins-
. telletion,
Vinyl tiles for living, dining roons end poreh shell be of
+ 4/2" x 12" x 12" a5 monufectured, of locel orogon, (color end
design to be specified by the owner). Cpncrete surfaces must be
smooth, level, free from dust, gresse ond impurities, thoroughly
ary end in proper condition before spplicotion of tiles.
6) ROOFING
The meteriels should be of corrugsted no. 26 G.I. sheet
as specified in the plens, must be rigidly fesiened in to
the refters by tie wires( lenguete). Corrucsted G.I. sheets
shall extend to not less then 8 ems. beyond the outer surface
of the facie board. Nails or rivets shell be spaced ot every
other corrugetions along the gutter line, lepping joints, rid-
ge sXéé#4/, hips, end volley rolls. Always provide @ string e-
cross the leid roofing shhet to insure the center fastening of
noils to the purlins. The contrector shell exemine #11 surfe-

shall be of the Philippine Standard brand( color and design
to be soecified by the owner). Window penels shell be 1/8"
thick clear gless end 1/4" for fixed windows.
NSHIP
Glezing sholl be bedded and back putied or clipped in. All
stains emenating from glezing shall be removed. 411 windows
shall be woshed. Gloss shell not be set while denp frosted.

ishing toutches.
40) PLUKBING
AL works emd materials shall conform to the Netionel
end Local Senitation Codes. All pipings, valves, fittings
and other secessories shall be new end of the highest gr-
ade end quality, free from bleeks and other flows.
Water lines from source shall be of 2/4" ¢ pipe up
to the water meter. All brenches shell be 1/2"f ss speci-
fied in the plumbing plen, Soil pipes, waste pipes end vents
shall be of 4"f P.V.C. pipes. All floor and shower drains she-
11 be of stainless stecl.
Workmonship
All materiels to be instelled ere to be concealed with-
in building partitions whenever possible, All pipings must be
substentielly supported to overcome segsing. The pipe emene—
ting from the main weterline is to be 1sid out on solid eerth
and the trench refilled, temped and watered. 411 soil ond weste
stacks are to be provided with clean out plugs et the bases

SEPTIC ‘ANK
Construction of the septic tank must be in sccordence with
the ‘Buresu of Health Department codes. No septic tenk shell be
dnstelled within nor under the house. Both compertments are to
be provided with manholes and tight covers for cleening and re~
peirs. The bottom of the tank should slope e minimum of 1:10
towsrds the «enhole to facilitate cleaning. Tonks must be woter
tight, of concrete stone or brickwork.f
44) ELECTRICAL
‘All works specified herein shell comply with the Philippine
Slectricel Code ond of the BENECO. All wirings shell be ences-
cd inside P.V.C. pipes. Wiring for lichting circuits shell be of

42) PAINT AND VARNISH WORKS

44) PAYHENT
Partial peyment will be peyed to the contrector not later
than the 15° aay of each month. The owner shall make pertiel
peyment to the contractor on the besis of @ duly certified and
approved estimete of the work performed, but the owner will ret-
ain 10% of the amount of each estimate until finel completion
and scceptence of all works covered by the contrect.
45) PINAL CONDITICN
‘The contractor does hereby guarantee the entire work- ar—
chitecturel, plumbing, electricel end miscellaneous underteki-
ngs done by him from one yeer from the completion of the work.
He sagrees to replece all defective materials and mske good sny
demage done to the building in the performence of this contract
without cost to the owner.
