• Pressure data:
Nominal Pressure: 16 bar (232 psi) E

• Finish: Two part red epoxy (RAL 3000).
• Connections: Wafer style carefully designed to fit between
the following flange types;
BS 4504/DIN 2501/ISO 2084 PN10 and PN16.
ANSI B16.1 Class 125. C A
BS 10 Table E.
• Specifications: Design and tested in accordance with BS 5155
B
and MSS SP-67. Top flange conforms to ISO 5211/1.
• Supervisory/Auxiliary Switches:
The gearbox can be fitted with one supervisory switch and one
auxiliary switch as an option.
• Note: The valves are suitable for use outdoors. Some degradation of
the painted/coated surfaces may occur (including rusting) which will
not affect the performance of the valve. The switch operation is not
affected by outdoor conditions providing the proper installation
instructions are followed.

The BWG series butterfly valves can be ordered with one internal supervisory position switch and one internal auxiliary switch by adding the letter
“T” to the part number ordered.
The supervisory/auxiliary switches operate by a cam connected to the valve stem and are designed to notify in the case of valve closure. Please
refer to the relevant installation standard and Authority Having Jurisdiction.
The switches will change position and close within two (2) full turns of the hand wheel from the fully open position.
