The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering deals with the study of the conceptualization, development, design, and application of
safe, healthy, ethical, economical and sustainable generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy for the benefit of
society and the environment through the knowledge of mathematics, physical sciences, information technology, and other allied sciences,
gained by study, research, and practice. The program is a higher education degree program that covers competences defined under PQF level
6, qualifications needed for the examination and registration as defined in the New Electrical Engineering Law (RA 7920), and provided in Article
2 Section 6.2 of CMO 88, series of 2017.
1. The BSEE Program aims to produce graduates who, within four years after graduation:
a. shall undertake projects individually or as a member of a team showing their ability to solve complex engineering problems.
b. shall be involved in projects that consider safety, health and environment, public
c. safety and welfare by adhering to regulatory requirements, existing codes and laws.
d. Must demonstrate professional advancement and move up in the organization with great responsibility.
e. Must demonstrate life-long learning by pursuing continuing education programs, professional development or through the completion of an
advanced degree and through training courses obtained from the industries.
f. Must uphold the highest standard of professional, conduct in the practice of the Electrical Engineering profession.
g. Must develop, initiate, and implement programs towards the development of Electrical Engineering practice.
2. Graduates shall be equipped with knowledge, understanding, proficiencies, skills, competencies, attitudes and values to qualify them for:
a. passing the professional licensure examination of a Registered Electrical Engineer.
b. leadership in the Electrical Engineering profession, the community where he/she resides, and the Filipino society in general.
3. The Program shall provide activities that will endeavor in developing A-I-M-S core values among students, responsive to the ethical standards of the
profession within the four (4) curricular years.

This course covers the concepts of numerical analysis and computer software tools in dealing with engineering problems. It includes
techniques in finding the roots of an equation, solving systems of linear and non-linear equations, eigenvalue problems, polynomial approximation
and interpolation, ordinary and partial differential equations. The Monte-Carlo method, simulation, error propagation and analysis, the methods of
least squares and goodness-of-fit tests are also covered.
Knowledge : Identify different errors, root-finding techniques, approximation and interpolation, and approaches leading
to the solution in solving complex engineering problems (i.e. ODE, systems of linear and non-linear
equations)
Understandin : Differentiate and discern the appropriate technique in solving complex engineering problems in view of all
g the parameters and errors that need to be factored in.
Proficiency : Solve complex engineering problems using numerical method techniques; considering the right technique
in every problem that needs to be solved.
