Action Plan in Disaster Risk Reduction Management

Introduction
Thirteen municipalities in the Province of Batangas are along Taal Lake and
Volcano Island. This geographical location makes the province prone to disasters and
risks to the residents. In addition, due to climate change and ecological imbalance
calamities are frequent phenomena not only in Batangas but all over the world. Citizens
must be aware and prepared to successfully overcome the unpredicted events that may
befall them. A well-thought of plan can help alleviate difficulties and save lives of the
populace in times of natural calamities.

Goal: The main goal of this plan is to help the schools lead in the Disaster Risk
Reduction Management in its service area.
