Chap.2
Please note that “Group” name and “Exp. Condition” are common to them in general.
Always handle the two types of Exam Tag keys for image stitching, keys for images before
stitching and after stitching by the set. (when copying, editing or deleting, etc.)
It is useful to create one set key for upper/middle/lower images (middle/lower for two in com-
posite) before stitching.
• Image processing of the composite image (after stitching) will be carried out using the
image processing parameters set to the middle image (lower image for two in compos-
ite), and not the image processing parameters set to the Exam Tag keys for composite
image. Therefore, when the adjustment on the composite image is required using the
User Tool, change the image processing parameters for the middle image (lower image
for two in composite) to reflect such change upon the composite image.
Note 1) When the Exam Tag key for the composite image (after stitching) is not regis-
tered in the User Master, the Exam Tag key for the first image from the top
before stitching will be used as the Exam Tag key for the composite image.
Note 2) The Exam Tag keys for the composite image are the special ones, do not use
them as the exam condition in the normal examination.

• When Exam Tag keys are newly created, always copy the Exam Tag keys first from
the Exam Tag key list for the mammogram, and then edit. Consequent process will
not be properly carried out if it is copied from the Exam Tag keys for different body
parts/exposure method.
• Do not use the Exam Tag keys for PCM.
Do not delete or edit the following Exam Tag keys for test/servicing work purposes.
- “S Value”, “DR Phantom”, “test1”, “test2”.

Chap.2 Editing the Process Menu
A Process Menu is one of the parameters contained in the examination tag key,
and used for the setting of image processing. One Process Menu is always In the system where sev-
assigned to an examination tag. eral CS-3s and REGIUS-
IM(s), all process menus
can be controlled by the
"Image Adjustment (From Processing List)" screen is a tool REGIUS-IM. Refer to the
Process Menu
that the user can edit by him/herself, while "Image Adjustment operation manual of
(From Exam. Tag)" screen is a tool that the user can edit REGIUS-IM for details.
Examination
Tag Key the setting of image processing by selecting examination
tags which frequently appear on the screen.
Ex) To change the image process parameters for the image exposed using

tag [Skull AP] uses.
Using either button to change the setting will automatically bring a change to the processing
menu. Therefore, when a change is made using "Image Adjustment (From Processing List)"
screen, attention must be paid to ensure that the process menu to be changed may also be
assigned to other examination tags. On the other hand, similar attention must be paid when a
change is made by using "Image Adjustment (From Exam. Tag)" screen; Not only the image
processing parameter of the examination tag intended is changed, but the setting of other
examination tags using the same processing menu may also be changed.
When it becomes necessary to change the process menu of a specific examination tag, even
though the same process menu is assigned to other examination tags, first copy the process
menu using "Image Adjustment (From Processing List)" screen and assign that menu to the
desired examination tag, then make changes.

Care & It is important to regularly check and correct, if necessary
Maintenance the internal clock of the CS-3.
Follow "Operating the Time and Date Property Screen" in
Chap. 2 to check and correct the internal clock.
p.12 Date/Time
The internal clock of the CS-3 is used to record the examination date.
The internal clock should be checked and corrected regularly. Properties
Screen
In case where there are several CS-3s in the institute, adjust each of the internal
clock so that all units keep the same time.
If they are not keeping the same time, the time sequence of examinations may be
incorrect when they are output on the film or to other hosts.
