Installation Instructions

Point Support Systems

STANDOFFS
Before installation see the Point Support Placement
Guide (www.lumicor.com/hardware-essentials) for
recommended hole locations by panel gauge
and dimensions.

STANDOFF INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS


1. Hold the panel against the substrate in the
desired location and mark the location of each
hole on the substrate.

13/32” (10mm) holes 2. Remove panel and drill holes into the substrate
where marked. For concrete substrates tap the
Concrete Anchors into the pilot holes.
3. Unscrew and remove the Standoff Caps.

4. Insert screw into the larger opening in the
Standoff Barrel and through the smaller opening
at the opposite end.
5. Screw into the Concrete Anchor or wood
substrate. For hollow walls, thread the toggle
onto the screw and pinch the ends of the toggle
together as you guide it into the pilot hole. Once
Panel with Mount Plate #8 Flat Button Cap the toggle opens on the other side of the wall
1/4”-13/32” (6mm-10mm) holes Head Screw gently screw into place. Do not over tighten.
6. Place the panel in position, insert standoff cap
through hole and turn until snug.

hollow walls, thread the toggle onto the screw
3/8” (9.5mm) pilot hole 1/4” x 1-5/8” pilot hole 5/64” (2mm) pilot hole and pinch the ends of the toggle together as you

guide it into the pilot hole. Once the toggle
opens on the other side of the wall gently screw
into place.
5. Screw Button Cap onto Mount Plate until snug.
