Format: A1 sheets in PDF format (as a combined file for each group).

Literature Case study

Select 2 case studies (international and national)

Selection criteria: It should be a high rise building, Five star rated, Design should include aspects of
energy efficiency and sustainability (better if it is a Green building with LEED rating)

Check list:

1. Basic introduction (name, year of construction, architect, total area, site area details, Facilities
provided (brief).etc.)
2. Location, context details and accessibility
3. Design Concept / Design Evolution details.
4. Site layout with analysis of zoning and circulation pattern (vehicular & Pedestrian)
5. Landscape layout and details of other elements in the site.
6. All Floor plans with analysis of spaces, configuration and circulation pattern.
7. Parking layout and circulation details.
8. Detailed Room layouts of different category with furniture layout.
9. Sectional studies of vertical configuration, vertical circulation and massing of building
10. Elevation details of building, with materials used.
11. Detailed area statement of facilities/ spaces.( and details of F.A.R, coverage and other area
regulations)
12. Service layouts with details of STP, Electrical rooms, Water management, Rain water
management, HVAC , Fire safety provisions.
13. Details of other service related areas like kitchen, service corridors, Linen rooms etc.
14. Aspects of energy efficiency and Sustainability (climatic considerations).
15. Details of special design features, or architectural elements if any.

Submission: Before 9.00 AM, 09/03/2022 (WEDNESDAY) – Google Class room
