JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for smart and motivated engineers to join our team. The candidate must have
programming experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Javascript, Python, C, or
C++. Selected candidates will go through an extensive training program and on successfully
completing the requirements of the program will be offered the role of a Software Development
Engineer in Test.

Role and Responsibilities

● Learn and build good understanding of product development lifecycle

● Familiar with at least one programming language Python or NodeJS
● Good understanding of Session Based Testing, Exploratory Testing and Regression
Testing
● Generating scenarios and thinking through the edge cases
● Responsible for uncoving things that everyone else misses
● Responsible for defining acceptance criterias
● Learn to perform test automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application
platforms like Web, Mobile, APIs, etc.
● Creating & managing bug reports and communicating with the team.

Required Skills

● Understanding of top 10 OWASP Vulnerabilities 2022

● Understanding of SANS Top 25 Security Vulnerabilities
● Well versed with CI/CD Pipelines
 ● Exposure to No-Code Test Automation Tools or Selenium and Appium based testing
frameworks
● Having good knowledge on browser and API performance testing
● In-depth knowledge and experience with cross-browser testing
● In-depth knowledge and work experience with native mobile application testing
● Familiar with Postman and Swagger
● Understanding of CI/CD, Releases, Version Control System
● Ability to write the acceptance criteria in Gherkin syntax
● Having knowledge of K6 performance testing tool will be an added advantage
● Proficiency in using JIRA

Basic Qualifications

● Education: BE(IT or CS) or MCA/MTech

● Strong object-oriented design and coding skills ( C++/ Java/Python)
● Problem-solving capability, excellent communication, and documentation skills
● 0-2 years of software development experience developing high-quality, large-scale
consumer applications
