Elevator Configuration OM120
BioStar 2.4.0 has an added feature to authorize and control an integrated elevator to stop at
different floors. This document will explain the physical integration method and components
required for elevator configuration.
The OM-120 is a 12-relay output control module. When used together with BioStar 2, it is
able to control the access to select floors from the elevator.
From one Master device, 31 more devices can be connected using a RS-485 daisy chain
model, and it also supports AUX input. Furthermore, it can be used together with other
features such as Anti-Passback zones, and Fire Zones.
Features
Each module supports 12 relays.
Each elevator can control up to 192 floors.
When an anti-passback alarm is triggered, it can be configured to send out a
particular signal.
Selected elevator groups can be added and managed in Fire Alarm zones.
It is internally equipped with terminating resisters to allow for RS-485 connections.
The physical connections and the features of each device in the elevator control
configuration is as below.
