Tablet Charging Issue Report

The student reported that the tablet they borrowed from DepEd stopped charging and would not turn on, with the battery at 30% originally. Upon charging it for an hour, the percentage did not increase, and when unplugged it suddenly shut off and would not turn on again even while plugged in.

Student Name: Nicole A.

Forrosuelo

Device: Tablet (from DepEd) Date of Incident: April 26, 2020

Description/Details:

I'm writing this to inform that the tablet I borrowed isn't charging and can't be

turned on. The tablet's battery percentage was around 30% on Sunday morning,

April 26, so I put in the charger beforehand due to a low battery. Upon charging the

tablet for an hour, the battery percentage did not go up. So I unplugged it since I

believed it needed some time. I plugged it in after a few minutes, and the tablet

suddenly shut off. While plugged into the charger, the device did not turn on. I

attempted to restart (turn on) the tablet, but it was unable to do so.
