At the end the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. discuss the functions of communication using socially relevant images and videos;
b. express social interaction and social emotional expression through shared insights;
c. perform real-life situations manifesting the functions of communication.

What did we tackle last session? COMMUNICATION
What is Communication? Communication is the process of sending and receiving messages
through verbal or nonverbal means, including speech, or oral communication; writing and graphical
representations (such as infographics, maps, and charts); and signs, signals, and behavior.
6. Motivation
The teacher will ask some questions to the class.
Why is there rules in school?
Why do people talk with each other?
Why do we comfort our friends?
Why do we share new discoveries?
Why do we share our problems with our family or friends?
The students will participate through answering the questions.
B. Lesson Proper

The students will form a group of five (5).
They will watch five (5) videos about the examples of the different functions of communications.
While viewing each videos, the students will discuss and give reasons on how communication is
being used in the videos.

they will be going to make a short role play about.
They will be given 5 minutes for preparation, and 3 minutes for presentation.
