Subj: [Tablet Rollout Expansion]
[Hello Carter, I hope all is well.
Omar has requested that the tablet rollout be expanded to the entirety of the dining room. The
initial rollout is planned to be executed in the bar areas only. I do not believe this is the best
route for the project.]
[I believe that the expansion of the tablet rollout to the entirety of the dining room proposes
more risk than gain. We have previously expressed concerns about the need for more kitchen
personnel and I believe that the expansion of the rollout will negatively impact the kitchen
staff. Also, the expansion of the rollout will take us out of scope. The expansion will require an
increase of budget and an extension of time.]
[I am asking you to join a coalition to convince Omar and Deanna to remain with the original
plan. I believe this project will be successful in an incremental manner. I hope you can agree.]

[I believe that the expansion of the tablet rollout to the entirety of the dining room proposes
more risk than gain. We have previously discussed the needs of the kitchen staff with the
rollout. As you stated, diners in sections with tablets tend to order more, and it would make
more sense for the kitchen to scale up there operations more gradually to meet the increased
demand. As well as piloting at the bar is a lower risk than other areas. This would make
customer satisfaction less of an overall concern as the rollout may come with issues.]
