 Salient Features

 The user guide and the Mobile App apk
are available in the “Download” Section of
the portal and can be accessed after
onboarding.
 Step 1 – User Onboarding

User has to register in the portal one time for

completing the onboarding process

➢ Enter the ERP username and click on

Get OTP button to get the OTP on the
Mobile Number Registered in the ERP
system.

➢ Enter the OTP, desired password,

Receiving and Supplying Plant details
and Submit. This will complete the
Onboarding process.

Step 2 - Login to the Portal with the ERP username and
the password set in the previous step
 Dashboard
Dashboard has the details of the POs
and OBDs raised by the user for the
Recipient and Supplying plant selected
while onboarding.
The materials pending for carrying out
Goods Receipt and those for which
Goods Receipt is completed are also
available in the Dashboard page

 STEP 3 – Mapping the mobile number of the BSNL
representative before sending to Supplying plant for
physically taking the material from Supplying store

➢ Click on the PO Widget Count

➢ Map a BSNL Representative to PO using Map

Representative link against the PO record (for
accepting the material from supplying store) .

➢ Select the SLOC for which the material receipt is

planned and click on “Map Representative” button.

➢ User is created with the username as Mobile

Number and default password as bits@123

➢ Map Representative can be done through BITS

mobile App also.

STEP 4 – OBD issue and physical hand
over of material to BSNL representative
by Supplying Plant
Supplying plant user can login to the Portal with the ERP
username and the password created while onboarding
 Click on the OBD count and Generate QR
Code by clicking on Generate Button against
the OBD number

the material issue using
the OBD data. The QR
code can be pasted on the
Material for further use
by the Recipient plant
representative.
 STEP 5 – Acknowledging the Physical
acceptance of Goods at Supplying store by the
BSNL representative

➢ BSNL representative can login to the BITS

mobile App using the userid and password
created during the Map Representative
process described under Step-3.
➢ Scan the QR code pasted in the material.
➢ Update the Status as “Transit to Store
Location” Or “Transit to installation Location”.
➢ The material will be marked for tracking by
BITS system against the SLOC from here
onwards.

button and select
the reason for
manual update.

material for which
acknowledgement
is to be done.

In both the QR
code scanning

Select Status
and chose the
option from the
dropdown and
tap on “Update
Status” to
acknowledge
the physical
acceptance of
Goods at
Supplying
Store.

 Goods Movement Status

The movement status report will show the status as

Transit and the goods taken time and transit
duration will be displayed in the portal which can
be monitored at various levels.
 STEP 6 – Material Receipt at the Recipient
Plant
➢ Once the material reaches the Recipient plant, the
recipient plant user can do the material receipt either
in BITS Portal/App or in the ERP system.

➢ In portal the recipient plant user can see the In

transit materials in the Pending section and can view
the details by clicking on the view button.

➢ Material receipt can be done by clicking on the

“Accept Goods At Store” button.

➢ The user can do the receipt in BITS mobile App also.

➢ The user has the option to do the Goods Receipt in

the ERP system also as usual.

(Remarks field can be used for entering the details like SIM

➢ Through Mobile App the goods receipt can be done

by scanning the QR code on the material.

➢ Manual option can also be used in case QR code is

not clear or not available.

➢ Goods receipt can be done by selecting the item

from the “My Receipts” menu of the mobile app also.

Once manual option

is selected, the
material details with
movement status is
displayed. Select
the item for which
“Goods Receipt“ is
to be done. The
details of the item
selected will be
displayed with
option to enter
remarks like SIM
series. Tap on the
“Accept Goods At
Store” button.

to complete the
Goods Receipt in
the mobile App.

The data captured

by BITS system will
be transferred to
ERP system for auto
MIGO activity in
ERP system.

activities are
completed the same
will be reflected in
the portal and app.
