TWO DAY LAC SESSION ON ICT INTEGRATION ON EDUCATION

I. Rationale:
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is increasingly having
pervasive role and presence in the educational milieu as it continues to shape
all aspects of our lives. Numerous reform projects have been in place aiming
to infuse ICT across education systems. Teachers are widely believed to be
the key agents of any educational change. This activity allows teachers to
improve their ICT skills in a practical and concrete way thus gaining
understanding of the topics by sharing best practices and experiences.

This training aims to foster excellence in education by empowering


teachers to integrate ICT tools into teaching and education.

This is a LAC session for two (2) days. No registration fee required.

II. Objectives:

1. Get an overview of the most important new technologies and of growing


trend of integrating ICT into education;
2. Learn how to create engaging and interactive multimedia content and
presentations;
3. Learn how to use ICT tools to make education more engaging, motivating
and innovative;

VI. Expected Training Output:

motivating and innovative;

Expenses such as food and materials needed in conducting of the said LAC
session will be charged against school MOOE.
