Technical notes on application
General
It is a liquid reductive clearing agent that replaces Caustic, Sodium hydrosulfite, Detergent etc;
it improves fastness of dyed fabric under the acidic condition rinsing, especially suitable for dyed
polyester, acetate and its’ blend fiber with PAN, wool, silk, cotton.
Energy-saving: TANEDE® RFH-B can directly be added into dyed bath at temperature decreased to
80°C, no draining is needed. It improves production efficiency by saving time, energy, water and
chemicals.
Excellent rinseability: TANEDE® RFH-B is active under acidic condition for after-clearing of un-fixed
disperses dyestuff on polyester and their blend with PAN, wool, silk, cotton.
TANEDE® RFH-B won’t promote the releasing off of oligomer. The content of oligomer depends
on the quality of polyester. As for hank dyeing, The content of oligomer on fiber won’t be increased
after draining. However, for package dyeing, if we do the reductive clearing in the dyed bath directly,
the oligomer release from fiber, which will cause filtration problem, we suggest using fresh bath for
reductive clearing.
Best application in T/C blend: TANEDE® RFH-B is better for time and water saving than
traditional strong alkali and hydrosulfite during reductive clearing. The pH value of bath is close to

requirement of polyester dyeing. As no rinsing of caustic and hydrosulfite is needed, so it
improves production efficiency by saving energy and water.
Cleaning dyeing Unit: it is a high effective cleaning agent by de-coloration of dyestuff on bath,
and getting rid of accumulation on machine.
Application:
TANEDE® RFH-B can be used to strip of unfixed disperse dyestuff on fiber: polyester, acetate fiber
and polyester blends with PAN, wool, silk, and cotton etc. lab trial firstly when dealing with the blend
containing elastane fiber,
TANEDE® RFH-B can degrade unfixed dyestuff as well as dyestuff that are not tightly bond with
fiber. TANEDE® RFH-B bath is active under pH value with 5-6.
TANEDE® RFH-B can be used on normal dyeing unit. Because of no foam and stability in air, so it
also is suitable for Jet and overflow dyeing machine.
No alkali, no neutralization. Therefore, it saves time, energy water and chemicals, and makes waste
water recycled easily.
Suggestion recipe:
The required amount of TANEDE® RFH-B depends on the depth of shade and bath pH value.
1. After dyeing, the temperature of dyeing bath decreased to 70-80°C, to add 1-2%
(o.w.f) TANEDE® RFH-B to it.
2. Adjust pH value to 5-6.
3. Rinse with 70-80°C for 10-20 min,(70°C for PAN)
4. cool and rinse
Cellulose/acetate fiber: under acidic condition reductive clearing, it can minimize damage to
fiber. Recipe as follows:
0.5 g/l TANACID® NA 01 or acetic acid (before adding TANEDE® RFH-B)
2.0 g/l TANEDE® RFH-B
50-60°C rinse for 15 min, then rinse with water

Storage stability
12 months from delivery ex plant TANATEX Chemicals in closed containers. If the product should
thicken or freeze as a result of exposure to cold, it should be warmed (e.g. To room temperature)
and stirred. It can then be used normal.
