A highly motivated and professional Air Diver. Former British Army (Royal Engineers) with over 20 years’
experience. Good theoretical and practical knowledge of diving subjects drawn from a multitude of diverse
experiences in underwater construction, demolition and explosive engineering. An enthusiastic and versatile

Personal
· Conducting air diving operations within the Nysted offshore wind farm Denmark including the safe
mooring of the vessel utilising a 4 point anchor system.
· Carrying out varying degrees of subsea inspection on concrete gravity bases of turbines including
drilling coring samples of various depths using a drill pedestal and hydraulic drill.
• Conducting air diving operations on a subsea inspection campaign within the Robin Rigg wind farm.
• Mooring the diving vessel at the turbine to enable diving operations to be conducted safely.
• Using a cavitcleaner gun subsea to remove the marine growth on the structure ready for inspection.
• Carrying out varying degrees of subsea inspection inc: GVI, CVI, UT meter thickness readings and also
CP meter readings.
• Conducting air diving operations from DSV Boka Atlantis within the Tyra Oilfield North Sea.
• Using PLV cutting to remove various components on a subsiding platform including walkway and riser
clamp bolts.
• Rigging/De-rigging and positioning of the Diamond Wire Saw (DWS) and Chain Manipulator high
pressure cutter on/from various members of platform to enable removal.
• Installation of various rigging onto members to enable safe removal and storage.
• Conducting air diving operations from the DSV Mermaid Sapphire utilising ‘golden gate’ procedures on an
IRM campaign on various oilfields in Saudi Arabia for Aramco including wet welding and inspection.
• Acting as ‘lead diver’ ensuring activities on deck run safely whilst diving operations are taking place.
• Daughter craft diving operations from the mother vessel on 2 xFPSOs within the North Sea.
• Piloting the mother vessels fast reaction craft to enable swift crew changes between daughter craft and the
mother vessel.
• Installation of the bend stiffener for one of the risers on the FPSO.
• Removal and replacement of ICCP anodes on the FPSO.
• Conducting dive operations from the DSV Kreuz Challenger adhering to procedures laid out when operat-
ing from the use of dynamic positioning within various oilfields in Brunei.
• Removal of sacrificial anodes from various platforms.
• Rigging, positioning, preparation and wet welding of sacrificial anodes to various platforms.
• Conducting RCC operations to enable divers to decompress safely.

• Rigging, positioning, preparation and wet welding of sacrificial anodes onto steel piles of vessel refuelling
jetty using various tools.
• Decommissioning of ship to shore oil pipeline within a cofferdam wearing full BA.
• Dry welding of cofferdam frame H beams.
• Positioning and operation of diamond cutter on pipeline.
• Dry welding of steel components including blank plugs inside oil pipeline within the cofferdam after con-
ducting relevant gas safety checks.
• GVI of rig legs including chords, members, nodes and spud cans.
• Grit blasting using HP water jet to SA 2.5 prior to inspections.
• CVI of welds including commentary and video surveillance.
• Carrying out remedial repair work on structure cracks using grinder and drill for stopper holes.
