INTRODUCTION:-
➢ A.P Residential Educational Institutions Society (APREIS) was
established in the year 1972 to cater to the educational needs of talented
and economically backward children up to secondary level, later this was
extended to intermediate and degree level also.

➢ After State re-organization, AP Residential Educational Institutions


Society is managing (50) Residential schools, (10) Residential Junior
Colleges and (01) Degree College in the residuary State of Andhra
Pradesh.

SUCCESS STORIES OF APREI SOCIETY :-

➢ APREI Society has produced a good number of IAS- about 25, IPS- about 20, IRS, IRTS, IFS - about
25, Scientists-- about 15, and a large number of Software Engineers, Doctors, Engineers, Charted
Accountants , Bankers serving the country with utmost dedication.
➢ In the year 2022 the APREI Society is celebrating its Golden Jubilee celebrations.
➢ In the year 1972 there were only 3 institutions in the composite AP,1 at Sarvail in Nalgonda District (for
Telangana Region only), 1 at Tadikonda (for Andhra Region only), 1 at Kodigenahalli (for Rayalaseema
Region) as pilot project.
➢ Subsequently, due to success of this project the Government expanded the number of institutions as
such the success rate of the APRE Institutions still stands at top level when compared to other
Government Institutions.
➢ Installation of Digital Class Rooms and 50 Schools having 01 digital Classes & 38 Schools having 02
digital Classes.
➢ During COVID-19 online classes are being conducted for 2nd year Intermediate Students till regular
classes were started.
➢ All APRE Institutions have Alumni and extending their co-operation in motivating the students for their
all round development.

ESTABLISHMENT ACTIVITIES DURING 2019-2020:-
PROMOTIONS

➢After Reorganization Andhra Pradesh, the Govt. permitted to


take up the promotions to all cadres of Teaching and Non Teaching
staff of A.P.R.E.I Society. Accordingly during the years 2016-17
promotions were taken up for cadres of Teaching and Non
teaching staff as per the available vacancies duly following the
rules.

➢Further, the proposals were submitted to the Govt. for approval


to take up promotions during this year. After getting approval of
Govt., promotions to all cadres of Teaching and Non Teaching staff
will be taken up as per the available vacancies.
ESTABLISHMENT ACTIVITIES DURING 2019-2020:-
TRANSFERS
➢There are no transfers to the staff of A.P.R.E.I.Society for the last
13 years.

➢The Govt. permitted to take up transfers of staff when the ban is


lift on the transfers. But the School Education Department was
exempted for the lifting up of ban on transfers during the year 2019
as the academic year is already commenced.

➢Further, proposals were submitted to the Govt., to take up


transfers to the employees of A.P.R.E.I.Society and orders are
awaited from Finance Department in this regard.

➢The APREI Society is receiving funds under GIA under the Heads of
Account 310/311-Non Plan Salaries and OGIA 310/312 Diet Charges
and other Contingencies.
➢The Society is receiving funds from the government through 4

AMENITIES PROVIDED BY THE A.P.R.E.I.SOCIETY TO THE STUDENTS OF A P RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS

➢The A.P.R.E.I.Society provided certain Amenities to each student of APR Schools from
2016-17viz.,
➢Uniforms – 3 pairs with stitching charges.
➢Bedding material – one set (Bed Sheet, Towel and Carpet)
➢Trunk Box – one only at the time of admission.
➢Stainless Steel Plate and Glass.
➢Shoes and Socks (Black shoes and Gray socks) –

proposed by the Principals concerned –

Trunk Box, Stainless Steel Plate and Glass, Cosmetic Charges, Washing Charges.

Rs.160.00 p.m for Girls – 7th to 10th class per Boarder

➢HAIRCUT CHARGES - BOYS – Rs.30.00 per Head – Class 5th to 10th class
