Ans)George meets Eric and Annie in the abandoned house.

2) Who is Cosmos?
Ans) Cosmos is the most powerful computer in the world.

3) What did Eric want Cosmos to show George?


Ans)Eric wanted Cosmos to show George that"How a star is born"

4) What was on the other side of the window?


Ans) On the other side of the window there was the universe.

5) What was the patch of total darkness in the bottom corner of the window?
Ans) The patch of total darkness in the bottom of the window was the cloud.

Ans)As the giant balls spun round and round it started getting smaller and
smaller.

Ans) He asked Eric that will the stars keep on shinning forever.

1) Why does Cosmos think it is the most powerful computer in the world?
Ans) Cosmos thought it is the most powerful computer in the world because it
can compute billions of numbers in a nanosecond and it can also compute the
life of planets,comets,stars and galaxies.

2)Describe the oath of the scientist.


Ans) As per the oath of the scientist -he will use his scientific knowledge for the
good of humanity.He will never harm any person in his search for
enlightenment. He will not use scientific knowledge for his personal gain or give
it to those who seek to destroy the wonderful planet on which we live.

3)How did Cosmos create the window to the Universe?


Ans)Cosmos created the window to the universe through a tiny beam of very
bright white light which came directly from Cosmos's screen.

4) What was the huge cloud in outer space made up of?What was happening
inside it?
Ans)The huge cloud in the outer space was made up of dust and ashes.Inside the
cloud particles were moving around,some joining together to form huge lumps of
matter.

5)"George could feel the heat from where he sat on the sofa".What was causing
the heat?
Ans)George could feel the heat from where he sat on the sofa because of the
brightness coming out from the star.

6)What is a nuclear fusion reaction?


Ans)When a huge amount of gas and dust combines and shrinks to become
dense and hot,this process is called a nuclear fusion reaction.
