demand for its goods and services mainly destined
to the US military effort.

on civil production

the average years of education for people aged 15-
64 were in Japan 9.1 # in US 11.3

Japan, especially towards the US, became

where shares gave higher dividends and
public bonds were less risky and yielded
higher returns than in Japan.]

to the real economy from 1991 to 1993. Due to the
close interrelationship between banks and industry

98 and the World financial crisis of 2007-11 further
contributed to depress the recovery of Japanese
finance and industry.

the national soil, thereby reducing the growth of

 born 21 September 1954) is a Japanese politician who
served as Prime Minister of Japan and President of the
Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) from 2006 to 2007 and again
from 2012 to 2020.
 He is the longest-serving prime minister in Japanese history.
