Concrete density = 2.6 ton/m^3
live load = 0.36 ton/m^2

Calculation of Leg Load

Leg Load (W) = Dead Load + Live Load


Superstructure Volume = 194.75 m^3
Voided Volume = 30.03 m^3
Net Volumn = 164.72 m^3
Weight of Superstructures = 428.28 Ton
Live Load @ 360 Kg/m^2 = 70.11 Ton
Shuttering Load @ 150Kg/m^2 = 29.21 Ton
Total = 527.60
Load per sqm area = 2.71 T/m^2

ERW pipe (Electric resistance or Induction but welded)


Pipe Outer Dia (OD) = 46.4 mm
Pipe Inner Dia (ID) = 40 mm
Thickness = 3.2 mm
Grade of Steel = 210 Yst
Legth = 1m

Area (A) = 3.14/4(OD^2-ID^2)


= 434.07 m^2
= 4.34 cm^2
Moment of Inertia (I) = 3.14/64(OD^4-ID^4)
= 101816.3 m^4
= 10.182 cm^4
Radius of Gyration (y) = √(I/A)
1.532 cm
As per IS:800 considering case. Degree of end of restrainded of compression member = 0.65 L for "EFFECTIVELY HELD IN POSITION A
ROTATION AT BOTH END"

Calculation for no of Diagonal braces required


Considering
3 %dead load acting in horizontal direction
4% for sesmic effect
1.5 % for others factor

Hence 8.5 % of Total dead load to be consider acgting as lateral load

Total leteral load = 44.8 Ton

Consider capacity of one coupler 650kg/ coupler

= 68.99 nos
= 75 nos(say)

Checking primary beam ISMB 150

We have povide ISMB 150 @ 1 m C/C in longitudinal direction


Max Bending moment on primary beam(BM) = Wl^2/8
= 0.34 tm
Permissible stress = 160.00 N/mm^2
Section modulus Z req = 20762.99 mm^3
= 20.76 Cm^3
Provide ISMB 150 = 0.76 <<96.9 cm^3 Hence safe !!!

We have provide ISMC 125 Back to back @ 1 m c/c in Trancevercs direction

Permissible stress = 160 N/mm^2
Section modulus Z req = 20692.97 mm^3
= 20.69 cm^3
